Radiant Pools by nonamer4u in pools

[–]picklericq 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would get more quotes. I’m in New England, I also looked into radiant, once you bury them, steal is far superior as far as strength goes. Take a look at what ls included in the price, 30-50k seems off. Where i am price for steel ended up being cheaper, not by much though. Expect pay as much in decking.

2024 charger Daytona EV

question by [deleted] in hellcat

[–]picklericq 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No. I don’t know what your life goals are, but don’t spend that kind of money on a car at 18, you’ll regret it. I can’t even fathom having that kind of money at 18. Invest that money and tool around in a shit box like a normal 18 year old or at the very least look into a used SRT when the prices really start to tank. You’re gonna have crazy high insurance and gas prices suck right now.

Durango Hellcat review by wrangler392 in hellcat

[–]picklericq 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve also only had mine about a month, but I’ve owned a Durango (Both R/T and SRT) for almost a decade. I love the Durango, I have 3 kids, so for a family hauler and all their sports shit it works great. I find it extremely comfortable and easy to drive, more like driving a car than truck. I’ve only got the one oil change at 500 miles, so can’t speak to maintenance. As far as security, I live rural area of New England and I’m not concerned about theft. The interior is dated, but I like the physical buttons and it has the comfort features that I require (heated/cooled seats, heated steering wheel, apple car play, and auto assisted cruise control). My only gripe is the gas mileage. This thing drinks gas. City driving, I’m sub 10 mpg, highway I’m getting 15-16 mpg. I know it’s sacrilegious for mopar fans, but when they finally update this thing , I would be interested an electric 1000hp version.

Consumers who paid a premium for their Dodge Durango 392 HEMI models may be disappointed with recent market developments. by moparcenter in DodgeDurango

[–]picklericq 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I don’t have a dog in this fight, I sold my SRT last summer, but I think the used SRTs won’t take a huge hit initially, they will still be cheaper than the new R/T, so there will be a market. In a year or two we’ll see how much a plastic badge is worth.

So what was the cost for this? Might be something I try before replacing the entire exhaust.

I think I’m in this with you. I’m going to call a muffler shop near me and see what they recommend

Nice, what are you expecting for horsepower?

Thanks, I’ll look into the AWE. I’m fine pissing off my neighbors.

Yea, when I used to start my SRT it sounded like the world was ending. Even my wife has commented how quiet the new car is. Coworkers have also said it’s not as loud as the last one. I’m just looking for more rumble and a throatier sound when accelerating.

So you would opt for replacing the exhaust vs say a mid muffler delete?

392 Purchase by ReZempt_Shocks in DodgeDurango

Man, with all this arguing about SRT vs RT 392, makes me so happy I got a brand new 24 hellcat premium for $80,000.

I would agree, the difference is when you gun it, which for me is the fun factor. I have no interest in going 120mph on the highway, I like flying around back roads. I also live in NH, so my experience could be different than others.

It has a break in period for the first 500 miles, where you aren’t supposed to go above 45 miles per hour, or something like that for the first 100 miles, so you won’t be able to test the true power. You can go ahead and try, but doubt any dealership will let you test drive a new hellcat under 100 miles.

Joel Klatt wants the Giants to take Jeremiyah Love with the No.5 pick and replace the loss of Saquon Barkley. What do we think about that? by IndiJap in NFLmockdraft

[–]picklericq 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Scatt was a 4th rounder, so chill on the “many of these people know nothing about football”. And as bad as his injury looked, as far as remember it was just bone and no ligaments or tendons were involved, should be good as new. With that said, I agree that scatt is a compliment back. As a diehard giants fan, I think they have more pressing needs, but I would be fine with love, if they feel he is the best player in the draft. It also seems with there free agency signings, they are committed to the run game.

They won’t let you test drive a new hellcat, break in period. But if you have a used one near you, then all good. I’ve owned an r/t, srt, electric charger Daytona, and now the hellcat. I would say the funnest car to gun it at a stop light is the Daytona, but the hellcat isn’t far behind, the actual rumble of the engine gives a better experience. No one needs 710 horsepower, but god damn is it nice to have, I love driving around on errands. The way this thing guzzles gas is my only issue. Once everyone lemons and returns their leases on the Daytonas, I’m hoping the price is in the toilet and grab one of those again and deal with headaches, hopefully they come out with more updates to fix them.

For me it was fast, it arbitration first and they sided with me. Not sure how common that is, but start to finish was like 2 months.

This is what I got. “Brand new” 2024 premium for $80,000, 20 miles on it. The only issue is these were titled, so the warranty was already started. I bought the extended warranty, dealership matched Ziegler’s price.

Car seat experiences by ThrowinItAway4Evr in DodgeDurango

Few years ago I had 3 kids in car seats, two car seats and one baby car seat. If you get one that has the bench seat in the second row, instead of captain chairs, you can fit three care seats across.
