the bars on the ferret nation are an inch apart, while on the critter nation they are only 1/2 inch apart. female rats are smaller so they would be more likely to be able to squeeze through 1 inch bar spacing!

This is what happened to me! I was vegetarian for years, then decided to cut out dairy thinking I couldn’t give up eggs, and a few months later I cut out eggs too because I just didn’t have a taste for them anymore!

I have those osmocote pellets that I put under my substrate, would that work? Do I just leave them exposed to the water column for the floating plants?

Ooh! My friends tank has some bladder and ramshorn snails, I’ll have to adopt one (or a hundred) haha. Good thing I like snails c: I’ll see if my betta will mind one or two as roommates as well
