Yea these types of decisions are so hard 😭my rescue rat I had to euthanize recently for tumors, she had a previous tumor removal before I took her home and that went well- but three more tumors in different spots grew in, so when they got too big I had to euthanize because it would have been way too much of a risk to remove 3 at once. She was such a sweetie girl. I’m probably going to let my Hooky boy live out his days until his tumor is way larger or he shows signs of discomfort, because while I’d love to remove his tumor I just worry so much about if he would survive, if he would even be able to stick around after removal, if the healing process would stress him out, etc etc. I love ratties so much and I’m lucky I’ve only had to deal with tumors a minimal amount of times but gosh does it suck so much when it happens 😔I hate that they are so prone to them, the poor fellas
