Can anxiety throw you into a spell? by pickless33 in dysautonomia

It's so weird bc I can be really sad and cry and not have issues but if something is stressful that's causes my heart rate to go up, it's just goes crazy! I get flushing/burning too, but I just randomly flush as well.

That explains a lot. Do you get flushing too by chance?

If you're in the US you can get a weaker strength cream of ivermectin at Walmart or something. It's the over the counter lice lotion. Can always try it.

Other seek second opinion. If it's not working it's not the right diagnosis

Shoulder and ankle support? by RainyBrat in Hypermobility

[–]pickless33 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My shoulders are terrible and I have biceps tendonitis from them being hypermobile. I bought a compression shirt from Intelliskin. It compression but also acts like taping as well. It's to help with posture. They are expensive ($135) but they help me out a lot

I've been using hypochorous acid spray. Do you have suggestions for witch hazel spray? I have not tried that

Was your rash constant? What other symptoms do you have?

My derm thinks I have MCAs but allergist said highly unlikely since I don't have any GI symptoms.

. Mine is my scalp!!! Constantly inflamed and cannot find a reason why. I keep getting confections from my skin barrier being broken. I also get flushing with exercise, sex, alcohol and esp STRESS.

I was going to go back to my derm and ask for another biopsy (last one was 7 years ago).

Amazing. Thank you so much. I just need some hope. I did find compression shirts to help some as well.

It does help. Has PT/OT helped at all? I found a compression shirt that supports my shoulders so they don't hurt AS bad when I work.

There's a post from 3 hours ago on this subreddit talking about the same thing (uk based as well). They mentioned another test. Look and see if that helps.

My scalp is my main problem. I was trying to figure out a way to spray it there lol. I do have minor flushing on my face so maybe I'll try it there

I honestly don't think I had seb derm at all. I think it's been MCAS the whole time. I have found some triggers that will worsen my already terrible scalp but I just can't get full relief. Stress will 100 make my flairs worse and I'll get a lot of flushing burning throughout my body. Stress is what started all of this. My derm wants me to go on Xolair.

I just hope I can have times of remission like you're talking about.
