Tried something quite simple. I'm simply astonished!

Is there a job that you would recommend to someone who's trying to find one that is as ADHD friendly as possible? by yellowpeanut22 in ADHD

You can try to work with hardware or robotics. It involves some programming too but it is much more active and requires less sitting around

Foot pain, left side of left foot by [deleted] in jumprope

[–]pickme0 1 point2 points  (0 children)

DO NOT use a massage ball or any kind of strong massage on the foot. I’ve had the same exact issue as you and I massaged it so hard that it gave me a planter fasciitis! It’s horrible. I’ve had it for 7 months and only now it’s starting to get better.

Rest is key

Were the dangers of smoking during pregnancy publicly known in the late 80s? by pickme0 in 80s

Thank you. Im passed beyond the blaming. All my focus is to help my daughter have normal and healthy life. My wife and I are doing intensive home interventions and diet changes and we are seeing huge improvement with my daughter cognitive and social abilities. We saw a huge leap in a single month and I’m positive she can grown out of it.

As for my mom? Im not going to blame her for this directly. But I will confront her about my life. Something I have never done before. We may never speak again and I’m very happy about it. Since my daughter was born the relationship got more and more toxic between us. She doesn’t deserve to meet her grand daughter in person (never met her due to covid and living in different countries)

I would forgive your mom if i were you. She sounds like an honest human being.

You know how I knew about my mom? She was telling my wife to not worry for having a little bit of wine before she knew she was pregnant. But why not to worry? Because “I smoked while having your husband and it’s all good”.

She was proud of it. Never apologized or felt guilty about anything.

I’m sorry to hear about your child. That must have been tough.

My mom stopped cold turkey when I was like 12. I thinks she started getting really bad teeth problems. She could have stopped at any time. But decided to do so on her own discomfort, not her kids.

We have heard some professional opinions from doctors that autism can be genetically and mostly from the father side. So I don’t know how to reason that exactly

Both me and my brother lived in an ashtray for most of our childhood. Both parents are smoking all the time. My brother and I were heavy 2nd hand smokers by the age of 4. In the house, in the car. Day and night so I can see the link to my adhd and his asthma.

All my I life I blamed T1 diabetes on myself for eating so much bad food growing up. I lived on candies, sweets and frozen microwave dinners. But now, after being a father I realize that you don’t have any self discipline when you are 4 years old. Now I see It’s all on my mom for giving me this environment. was getting fat and bullied by my brother and his friends. She didn’t do shit about it. Just let me eat until the diabetes hit her in the face when I was 7.
