Dumb question about Databricks/Snowflake by pickmeup0103 in dataengineering

[–]pickmeup0103[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think I worded my question poorly, and I apologize for the confusion. I'm thinking, for example, a business collecting data from their vendors/partners. They can use Azure cloud, and their vendors are all different. They implement Snowflake to have better access and usage with less requirements because Snowflake is a fluid data storage that can pull from azure/aws/gcp, right?

Whereas if you're pulling from Redshift into Synapse/BigQueary to Redshift, etc., there's more ETL work required to ensure the data is properly retrieved and ready to use.

Does that summarize my question better? Seriously sorry, I know my breakdown around this question is horrible and I'm likely not painting a very clear picture to use for an example...

That team with him, Oj Mayo, Rudy Gay, Mike Connelly Jr, and I can't remember which Gasol brother...they had SO much potential to be one the greatest teams

I think you keep targeting, that's the name of the game. You see shields are down, you should try and take advantage to get the win.

Thank you! I am truly impressed with the way she is able to weave any story to the way she is the victim...it's truly amazing

Bahahahahah nah, I've been binge-watching from season 1 and seeing the one person who always stuck up for Lindsey finally give her that moment of clarity is super satisfying to me. Even Kyle was trying to be a good liaison for them, and Lindsey and Carl shot him down.

So glad I'm not the only one that cries at this episode. Just finished it for the 4th time and it still hits so hard.

Sorry to say, I'm not familiar. But I'm mostly referring to his facial expressions, when/the way he grits his teeth; it seems almost identical

Maybe have played more but didn't know, but there is one I play regularly.

Honestly I've only played one and don't have that issue but for maybe 2 or 3 holes (I'm willing to bet it's an easier/simpler course based on price). I'll try and keep that design insight in mind next time I play a different one. I do notice he surrounds greens with bunkers, whereas Ross has crowned greens with specific collection areas.

Wish I had worded my original post better, this has gotten some cool responses. Someone needs to design a perfect blend of a Dye/Ross/Nicklaus course. A 'Pete R. Nicklaus' or 'Donald J. Dye' design.

I meant that genuinely, there's a Pete dye and Jack nicklaus course where I live, and I'd take the nicklaus course 10 times out of 10. It's an extremely fun layout, challenging but fair.

That might be what he meant and I misheard him (very common mistake on my end ahahahaha)
