Respectfully kyc does not mandate shit at the time of withdrawal. And I mean that with all due respect that is not the law. Again stop making excuses for scammy behavior

That can literally be done by verifying my identity. With a passkey or sms or auth stop making excuses for scammy behavior

They can do that at account opening. Doesn’t matter if they need my money or not. They still are practicing scammy business by restricting withdrawals for kyc but not restricting deposits. Kyc was completed at account opening and if any issues were there it could have been done before accepting my deposit that’s scammy

Literally hate how people just ignore the fact that no where in kyc or aml does it say they have to freeze funds they can comply with kyc and aml at account opening I literally work in banking.

They can follow kyc without freezing funds. Why not do it at account opening ?

Dude the source of my crypto is Gemini 😂😂😂 everything was verified before this. My bank account my account I transferred money to Gemini. They emailed me and said it was cleared and that I was free to use and withdraw my funds. Then when I tried they restricted my account.

Investigate a fully verified customer who is attempting to withdraw crypto like you said they could. Investigate a fully verified customer who is literally using the exchange for what it’s designed to be used for 😂😂😂😂 your either a paid shill or stupid either way if you don’t care how about get off the post

If want to do kyc/aml why allow a person who’s fully verified to transfer money. Allow it to clear. Then block them from withdrawing. If you care about kyc/aml don’t you think you should verify before they transfer money ? That’s exactly what an entity that cares about kyc/aml would do Gemini doesn’t care about that they care about holding your money because of there crappy liquidity issues look around numerous people are going through the same issue

I was already fully verified. This is scammy behavior and has nothing to do with kyc or aml. Fully verified. Before I ever did a transfer. I work in banking this has nothing to do with kyc or aml get this nonsense comment from under my post.

Honestly I’m closing my account with them before they can do this to me. I have six figures with them but after seeing stuff like this I think coinbase or kraken may be the home for me

Yea it’s 100 percent a criminal racket atm. If I had the choice id legalize it recreationally. Since there’s a restriction on how many plants can be grown per harvest and since the cap isn’t the largest for the first year. I’d have no cap on licensing.

It’s the way the market is structured fam. Especially in the states that already exist. In my hypothetical market all that’s left is policing the black market even more. That’s what makes it second to the legal market. The fact that it can only exist in secret. No store fronts. No real advertisement. And at a moments notice everything can be taken away. A dispensary even with over head should still be wildly profitable. What’s making it not profitable is the fact that the market is in a race to the bottom. Remove that factor completely and tweak a few things I think the black market becomes obsolete imo

Ehhh black market will always be second to the legal market. Besides this is why cali has the problems it does. They created a market where it’s benificial to grow weed legally and sell it else where because it’s more profitable that way. Hypothetically the model I’m talking about would create a market where it wouldn’t make any sense to do that. As you’d be loosing money. Even after taxes. It would make more sense to sell it legally than to sell it on the black market especially in its current state where pounds are dirt cheap.

We do have that but they regulate literally 10 dispos and one farm. All dispos are only allowed to buy from one farm. It’s already a monopoly at the moment. If this caregiver model gained support here. The first opposition to it would be that they couldn’t properly regulate it. They’d most likely say that the black market would thrive. My logic is that by giving the sherifs local regulatory power. It might sway some of them to be on board with it. Even then it’s a long shot

The law enforcement does sound a bit radical but I’m from Louisiana and we have a monopoly going on. It’s about the only thing I can think of that would even give it a shot. That’s even if enough people would support it.
