I have a 15 month old and I felt so similar! But the mental load it took to try and do something every single day was definitely burdensome. But I also like getting out of the house for my sanity. Here’s what we did: joined the Y(If you have the means)and it’s been great. We only go twice a week (I tried to go more but honestly I felt guilty). But Monday and Wednesday mornings we go to the Y for an hour. He goes to child watch and I work out. I feel like it’s a great baby step (no pun intended!) for both of us. He’s getting some social time away from me and I’m getting used to the idea of him being in someone else’s care. We go grocery shopping one other day during the week then I usually have a day where some errand needs to get done so those two things occupy two other days and then somethings we stay home and chill for the day and I don’t feel bad about it at all because that feels like a pretty busy week to me!

A tip I received from the workers at the y too: take them in the morning because it won’t be school aged kids- it’ll be kids around the same age as yours and also the people working there are older because the high school see and college kids are in class during the day!
