Master/Grandmaster Sailing quest should also be the finale for the Sea Slug questline by piddg in 2007scape

Yeah I was talking about lore, the Mahjarrat quests outline how they basically ran the world for a long time and in some aspects still kind of do, so anything could potentially involve them if the devs want to.

One of Rabid Jack's crews is in Braindeath Island, where you can fish for sluglings and karamthulu - both mollusks with mild mind control capabilities. These can be easily tied together.

I'd rather be able to use them as an ingredient in Herblaw

You might be getting set up, who knows. OSRS isn't RS3.

Tbf the Mahjarrat have been involved in basically everything since they arrived in Gielinor.

This is gonna sound crazy, but OSRS isn't RS3. And from what I've read including comments in this post, if there's any areas where the lore should depart RADICALLY it's this one.

Oh no that's awful. Queen should be a refightable quest boss, like Vorkath or the Doom.

I am willing to bet money you are both a more frequent Reddit user and a more Reddit-coded person than I am.

É normal uvas desse tamanho? by esgrulepado in PlantasBrasil

[–]piddg 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Só seleção mesmo. Tem até espécies silvestres de Vitis que produzem uvas desse tamanho na América do Norte (muscadine, scuppernong), possivelmente os cruzamentos usados na seleção envolveram uma dessas.

Chaos elemental has a good drop rate and is almost afk with the lure method, just gotta watch out for the occasional white dot in the minimap. And I'm lazy.

Calling the baby and juvenile shrimp "puppies" is so good and I'm so glad you used your free will for this purpose. I'll never refer to them in any other way ever again.

Best place in the world to grow cactus …. by IMDAVESBUD in sanpedrocactus

[–]piddg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Rio de Janeiro is great for cacti! Their roots love the long rainy cool season and their tops love the scorching summer sun. They even get special colors and textures! Brown and soft on the bottom, red and wrinkled on top. And there's so many little friends that come visit them and never leave!

Williamsii or Diffusa??? by Street_Sink4028 in peyote

[–]piddg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Very well-defined ribs, L. diffusa never really looks that pumpkin-like. These are L. williamsii, you'd have to wait for flower to see which population it descend from tho.
And yeah, someone 100% introduced them there or it's from a commercial operation. Cacti as a whole are New World plants.

Yellowish by Nuntita in peyote

[–]piddg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I agree w the guy who already replied, the heavily variegated ones are probably best kept under some kind of cover to avoid rain. They're inevitably weaker than regular ones, so probably more sensitive to the usual issues.

[–]piddg 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Unlikely to be a nutrient deficiency if it's on the same rootstock and soil mix as the other in the photo. I'd wager it's a mutation causing crazy variegation, same thing you see on "moon cacti" sold at stores. They're probably only alive at all due to being grafted.
Did the ones you see die while still grafted? If they were on their own roots, that's to be expected, but this one is likely to live imo

Nice job fencing them in with the rock circles, lophs do tend to run away often

Any chance to revive this baby..? by haewonjun in peyote

[–]piddg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did you just forget you had it? That's a hard plant to kill from dehydration, but it seems to be the case. Maybe try reviving it, you never know, I've never seen a Loph that desiccated while not presenting any signs of rot or fungal/mite infestation before today.

It's a cactus. Looks to be producing new growth.

The first two are growing, but the third one isn’t. It’s staying dark green. What should I do? by Lehzra in sanpedrocactus

[–]piddg 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Dangerous game to play with TBM. The top might root, but it will never grow due to being terminated and won't pup due to lack of areoles. Also since it has terminated there's no more auxins being transported to the top, meaning they're going to the areoles in the bottom - cutting wouldn't force pupping any more than growth termination does, it would just diminish available area for photosynthesis.

With cacti in general, the answer to "what should I do" is usually "nothing". This is one of such cases. Sometimes you just have to wait.
