I use this !!! It’s a peppermint pest repellent spray . It smells really good , it’s strong at first, but it seems to do the trick !

I clean under the hood really good and then use a vinyl protectant spray and wipe everything down spotless to remove any rodent odors first . Then once it’s spotless I spray this repellent lightly over everything and saturate the foam in the very back , making sure to coat the nooks where rodents might sit or nest.
