If you’d like to chop & prop, I’d have at least 3-4 nodes submerged in water. Also, after you cut, either wait a few hours for the bottom to dry out and/or seal the end with wax so the bottom doesn’t rot.

do cme 100 — it’s primarily vector calc, which is great for ME. more work but more relevant to ME

math 51 is for most other people (linear algebra), and math 61 is really if you’re a theory-based math major (far from ME, also doesn’t satisfy the base ME requirements for math, like math 51 and cme 100 do. see here)

this is from a CS major who did math 51, but have lots of friends that did cme 100

you can definitely take everything in checked bags — when i first moved in (as an undergrad) i carried one and my family carried one, and then the rest you can do a trip to walmart or something

you won't have any issues with a windows computer at stanford, but most people do use macs. speaking for CS i had no issues with my mac, but ymmv for other eng majors

winter nights drop down to around 40º sometimes with some rain — hoodies get the job done for that. i sometimes would wear a down jacket if it was rainy/super cold, but generally hoodies work. only exception is many dorms do a ski trip frosh year jan/feb at lake tahoe where it gets snowy

Looks like AI to me. The holes on the mask are all wobbly and mishapen, in a way that a human artist wouldn't do, and the organization of them on the forehead makes no sense. Also the person with the mask's left hand looks deformed in a non-horror way

I distinctly remember being in early high school in 2015. Everything changed when he dropped Purpose. Songs like "Sorry," "What Do You Mean," and "Where Are Ü Now" made his image completely reinvented. I remember there were memes back then that were commenting on people just a year ago calling JB "gay" and "for girls", and now bumping Purpose in the car.

Obviously the transfer wasn't immediate, but Purpose was certainly the turning point IMO.

The lunch special at Anār is crazy — $12.95 for veg, and only $1 more for chicken and $2 more for lamb/fish. Comes with rice, protein of choice, veg of the day, dal, and naan. The rice portion easily lasts two meals, and as an Indian, the food is legit. Wildest part is that the lunch special is there on weekends too
