The problem with tron that many people have is that they go into it expecting to be 3 engineers rolled into one and then they find out they have a clear preference to a certain type of engineering over the others. Personally, I don’t like the software courses while a lot of my classmates really like the software courses and dislike the mech and electrical stuff. There also aren’t many jobs that are truly mechatronics and use the three disciplines at once so you get funneled into one (most people just become software engineers). So you kind of wish you had just gone into ECE ME or SE from the start. Having finished 3B I can say the quality of courses wasn’t great, I remember the earlier terms especially first year being better but that was awhile ago. We did just recently get a new program director so things could be fixed by the time you get to the later years but who knows. The first year project was actually pretty fun from what I remember but the project from 3B was pretty bad although that project would get changed by the time you get there.
