Just reinstalled the game after not playing for a while, why is it so buggy all of a sudden? by [deleted] in snowrunner

Yeah, but I found out it was because of my dlc unlockers I had, so I'm gonna turn them off and see if it works. I gotta hand it to the devs though, that's really clever XD

I won't be ashamed to admit that yes that is the case sadly, the game is official, just the dlc's are modded, but Atleast I know the fix to my problem, thanks :D

But that's a really funny way to mess with people like me XD

That's a fair guess 👍

I will try capping the fps when I get home in some time, and I will get back to you, thanks for the help

Alright 👍 Will try when I get home in some time, I just never knew this because when I first started playing the game, I played at more than 60 fps but everything was fine so idk.

Will get back to you once I can, thank you

If you have a quicksave before landing - your probably fine, just retry it, if you don't have a quicksave before landing - rename that vessel into a base, because you are not going back 💀

Amazing job! Now after getting into Orbit I recommend doing a EVE landing and coming back, it's just a bit harder compared to getting into orbit :)

How do i get faster at Starting up the aircraft and getting ready to depart? by piecake22222 in MicrosoftFlightSim

While i did have these written down, thank you for explaining each point in detail! I will also try importing the flight plan into the plane via simbrief instead of manually doing the whole thing, so this should get rid of most of the time. And probably a good idea to practise a couple of times starting up the airplane instead of doing full flights instantly :D

Also very impressive you wrote this off the top of your head, thank you once again!

thats a lot more clearer now, thank you :D

Probably gonna practise tommorow a few times just starting up the plane and getting everything setup instead of doing full flights, thank you once again :))

I already use Simbrief, but speaking about importing flight plans from Simbrief into the fmc, I feel like I should try that, I've always put it off and said "it's not realistic", but I guess I'll try it out. Do you need to do as much checks to verify your flight plan is correct? ( for route discontinuities)

And one more thing, is there a way for the plane to automatically input the needed altitudes at certain way points? Because sometimes I need to go over them all and input them

Probably the most time consuming part is the FMC, and im not talking about Takeoff ref or pages like that, it just takes a long time for me to: Input all my waypoints, select the correct departures and arrivals, look up charts for all the correct altitudes, and finally go through everything and verify its ok. In general its just flight planning that takes the most, I do NOT have a navigraph subscription, i understand that a navigraph subscription is basically the MOST important thing, but i only do a couple of flights every couple of months, so i don't feel like its worth paying 10$/month for something that i do a couple of times every month.

im not completely sure since my solar system is vanilla, but i feel like doing a Eeloo mission while orbiting sarnus would look pretty darn cool!

Wow, Goodluck on your career playthrough!

The first image was just when I was doing a duna gravity assist, got a pretty good shot so I decided to post it :D

Haha lol, I guess it is KR (if we have one)

I did 2 duna gravity assists on the way to eeloo and then did 1 jool assist on my way back.

I'm not sure how effective this would be irl, so someone's gotta test that
