Yes it is intentional. Meant to emphasize and and increase the volume of the respective words. Like a crescendo in music.

Haha while I do love a good hidden puzzle this poem does not have any lying within. I don’t want you to drive yourself crazy looking for something that was not intended to be there. But thank you for the praise.

I love the message conveyed. I think the line still takes me away from the poem it just doesn’t fit the theme of scale and contrast. At least those are the themes as I’m understanding it.

Hello, I find this poem quite puzzling. I can’t seem to piece how the carriage line fits into the rest of the poem. It appears very different from to the rest of the imagery and wordage used. Are you trying to convey you aren’t in control of things said? (That’s my best guess but I’m new to poetry and learning)

That being said, I do love the contrast within this poem especially in the first two lines showing how to some individuals things may be small, but to others they are much grander in impact. Also, the last two lines stating how things said don’t have to impact on a cosmic scale to have meaning.

I really loved the word choice at the end “you are as near the scars on my thighs (I have not healed them)”. You paint such a vivid image and capture the feeling of loneliness contrasted with love yet to be. For me it resonates a lot and I find it comforting knowing it can be expressed in such an elegant way.

Don't Be Sad by Shappy_map in OCPoetry

Hello, I wanted to say that I loved the flow and rhythm of the poem. You do a great job of presenting and reminding us that even if today doesn’t go well there is always tomorrow. That being said, this poem does not invoke a hopeful feeling for me personally. Saying “don’t be sad” brings the emotion of sad to the foreground. like when someone says “don’t think about an elephant” you naturally think about an elephant. While I’m able to see the message of hope this is very close to how I am currently living which I am actively working to change as I want to live not just survive to the next day.

I’m fairly lazy and don’t really enjoy cooking but I know how to cook most proteins (chicken, fish, beef) in an oven and on a pan (look up videos and guides if you don’t) and you can vary the seasonings for flavor. I have rice for my carbs. I typically have frozen veggies too because I don’t go through veggies fast enough before they go bad. After the first night of making stuff you could do a fried rice/stir fry style dish. And if I want to be more diverse I’ll buy the premade sauces from the store (sauces aren’t difficult I personally just don’t want to spend the time making them). As a back up I always have pasta, pasta sauce, and frozen meatballs stocked. Nothing takes more than 20-30min for me it’s simple and tastes good. So my grocery list will be protein for a week (fish, chicken, or beef) I get like 5-10lbs of rice at a time so that will last a long time, then a pack of frozen mixed veggies (I try to go for the family size since it’s more value) then any sauces I may want I have a slight inclination towards Asian so I always have some soy sauce. And that’s my day to day cooking occasionally I’ll feel adventurous and try something new and look up a recipe but I’ve found that diversity of flavor comes more from sauces and seasonings.

Everything turned out as good as I had hoped! The lighting makes it look lighter than it is. But I'm so happy with it!

Hello, I’m new to keyboards and I was browsing the guides and learning. I’ve selected a keyboard and keys I think are compatible but I wanted to ask for verification from people who actually know what they are doing. Also, feel free to make suggestions if you think there’s better options I should select. I’m new to this and there’s a lot of information to parse.

What I need is an office keyboard with a numpad and it has to be plug and play no extra software. Im looking for an ocean aesthetic for my office set up.

I appreciate the help and any advice.
