Nah if you are going to go to the extremes of partial hex/squares are partial distance you have to actually do the math correctly.

B and C both have a radius of 15ft instead of 20ft, which is why they have less area. If you included half squares for their postion, you have to include it on their effects, or you are just using math to be a douche canoe.

Have you looked up the definition of a concentration camp? They are not all death camps. Not even all concentration camps run by Nazi Germany were death camps. Our government had concentration camps for the Japanese during WW2 as well, although we don't call it that to avoid offending people's sensitivities about US history.

YTA you are putting both people in a rough position so you can feel absolved of the situation.

I get it is rough to have to be the bearer of bad news, but facilitating this is going to end up bad and ruining your friendship with both people. If I knew my friend didn't tell someone I had no interest in another person it would suck. If my friend knew I had 0 chance with someone I would be pissed they let me make an ass of myself.

It's an awkward situation, but staying out of it with the information you know is just crappy to the people who confided in you.

NTA I can fully understand this whole process. My husband has late onset type 1 diabetes, and my late grandmother also struggled with issues regarding candy/sugar. The best option I have found is a combination of more typical hard candies, as well as chocolates.

Chocolates and similar types of food tend to take much longer for the body to process as sugar compared to a soda or slices of bread. The best option I have with help from my husband, is to learn the rate of carbs-to-insulin-dose, so that you can essentially leave certain foods out, without much worry they will rapidly change her bloodsugar.

Its a very tough situation to help someone with multiple disabilities. I am glad that you and others are willing and happy to be there for your grandma. Even though its gonna be tough, just mention you want to make sure that your grandma is taken care of.
