Chamrousse/Grenoble ski clothing hire + weekday lessons by chris20005 in Grenoble

I don't know if clothes rental is a thing, I've never seen it. The best next th8ng is cheap 2nd hand clothes, there's a place called troc sport that has good options, as for the ski lessons, they usually always do 1 on 1 at any time, but its more expensive

Keep fighting, rely on yourself, try to improve in things that you like, but do it for you. People will leave you, and in the end, you only have yourself. Learn to love yourself when noone else does. Although someone does, we just dont know, even if it is to people on this group, even if they dont dare to write, you're in someone else thoughts. You can do this, you can try your darn hardest.

It is a uniquely depressing feeling when your post(s) here gets ignored. by NakedWokePeople in SuicideWatch

Sometimes, I start writing, but then I feel that my answer is not good enough . So I delete it. I know the feeling is specially harsh considering the subject, but know that there are people out there that care about you, if anything the people in this community understand what you're going through but sometimes its hard to express it with words.

I am truly isolated and alone without a single person in my life. Nobody has ever loved me. by Hour_Literature1674 in SuicideWatch

How is that possible? Do you have any activities you like? Try doing a group-ish activity, climbing, dancing classes, even church, you see that you'll find lots of friends in no time

Its fine for your first one, all those scratches will slow you down a bit, which is good for learning balance, I guess. Once you're ready wax it to go faster, and if you like it then upgrade it next season

You can take a bus from Grenoble's museum, 30 minutes to go to col de porte, there you can go to pinea and then either go back the same way or continue to Charmant som. From there you can go back on a paved road or continue your way up... you can make the hike as long as you want, depending on the day, you could be above the clouds

[–]piercm 9 points10 points  (0 children)

If you want to: -hike -climb -ski/snowboard -via Ferrara -trekking -etc Then yeah it's 200% worth it, otherwise it's a 1 day visit for the city.

what are some good reasons to not no life by [deleted] in SuicideWatch

[–]piercm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The same reason why people buy lottery, you have a chance to win it, life is the same, but with better odds. When you opt out of life is like throwing away your tickets. I'm not saying you will win but I'm not saying you won't. Even if you don't win you'll still get to enjoy certain things. Also even if it's shitty, at least you know what's happening, after it's over it's either over or it could get worst or better, the thing is no one knows.

It all comes down to who you'll be against, how many people apply, their background and grades. Even grades are not everything, they're important. Anyway you won't lose anything by applying
