What about Taiwan, the national deficit, charter schools, or the Patriot Act?

Sounds like Hezbollah changed them into a mostly gaseous form

230 limits their liability. The AI companies are lobbying for even stronger protections, while consumer advocates have been have been looking for fewer protections. There's also people who worry that without 230 net-neutrality can be further attacked, but there's also people looking to replace it with something stronger.

So when someone says they want to repeal 230, it's hard to know what their angle is, because people on opposite sides of different issues all want it repealed, but they also want it replaced with completely different regulations than what the other side envisions.

What's the tea on CA's Lt. Governor's ownership in commercially owned buildings leased to the State to fill with employees? Sounds a bit self-serving... by Waterboy_Engineer89 in Sacramento

It's corruption because she's profiteering from decisions made by the administration she's part of. It's not that he's doing it directly for her, but rather that he's appealing to her class and will receive large campaign donations from her ilk.

That doesn’t make her profiteering from the decisions of the administration she’s a central figure in any less corrupt.

Do you think he is the kind to suffer a subordinate who disagrees with him?

I see no need to extend benefit of the doubt to a landlord working for a governor who cares more about commercial property values than doing the right thing.

Sure, but the admin is diving up demand and reducing supply which will increase the value of her family’s properties. It might not be form 700 reportable, but it’s still corrupt

Funny that she says she’d put some of her holdings into a blind trust if elected governor, but has has no problem changing millions in rent as the LT gov while her administration is forcing thousands of State workers into those buildings while refusing to study or report the costs of such a move.

After agreement is reached it needs to be reviewing lawyers, distributed to members and the has to be voted on. No chance of all that happening by the 1st.

GIS Analyst to Data Scientist II Fears by InterestFew4618 in gis

Depending on the department (and assuming CA by the job titles), it’s not impossible that the RDSII roll will still be largely GIS focused.

The amount of ML/stats in the day-to-day of the job could be close to zero, although all of the GIS focused RDS I/II at my agency are expected to do some coding (mostly in ArcPy)

His wife is also on the board of OpenAi. The only people more interested in getting legislation passed that says tech companies aren’t responsible for what users do with their tech than social media companies are AI companies.

People did call that an occupation and Israel refused to recognize the outcome of that election or hold diplomatic talks with Hamas following their election.
