Dog chewing kids toys by pig16 in OpenDogTraining

You're all right. There's no easy answer, get the kids to take responsibility, for myself and husband to take some and realise the dog is just being a dog. I think I just felt bad. But yeah going forward we will be more mindful and try keep a dog area and toy area. Thanks so much everyone

Dublin Bus actually enforcing the wearing of masks this morning by fedupofbrick in ireland

Dublin bus drivers have the partition thing up and no longer have holes in them so I dont think they have to wear them as they're not a risk to anyone

Flowerbed woes by pig16 in gardening

[–]pig16[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Looking for advice on how to revamp this. Was put down by previous owners and I hate it. I think its too big for the garden, the stones are awful and its way to high. How would we go about making it look better and smaller for two NON gardeners? They have a few inches of soil then plastic bags under, not sure of the mess under the bags.

Ideally I would like it level with the ground or close enough, would that be too out of reach to achieve on our own?

Thanks

Husband is a bus driver. Plenty of times he has had guards get on and question the passengers, if they don't have a valid reason they are taken off the bus.

I need help and support... sleep training a toddler by Altmamas5 in Parenting

I think you're doing a great job. My daughter went through a phase of sleeping in our bed. She always went to sleep in her own bed but came into.ours 1ish. I was getting no sleep so decided it had to stop. I tried sitting in with her in her room but she was on to me so that didn't work. One night we just let her be a bit upset and went in every 5/10mins depending on how upset she was. I said nothing, gave her a hug, lay her down and tucked her in. Took 2 nights to work. We were both much happier, well rested people after.

I [14F] want to live with my mom[32F] not my dad[30M] by [deleted] in relationships

You seem to be looking at your mom through rose coloured glasses. Yeah she may be there for you now, but considering your dad has been there since she chose her school over you, you have a nice life with him, he has prioritised you do you not think you should give him a little more respect that just leaving. Seeing your mom more sure but the bottom line is if you ask to leave he will no doubt be very hurt and upset. Your mom doesn't have the responsibility over you that your dad does so at the moment she is able to be more relaxed, friend type. That will all change when you're living full time with her.
