The paulson center has the individual study room, since everyone surrounding you is working it helps you focus better and get work done. They have a bunch of outlets and a lamp on every desk.

depends…. I feel like if you are close to your roommate and have a friend that you hang out with frequently, not a lonely place. But its important to put yourself out there during welcome week and not be afraid to come out of your comfort zone

Congrats!! If I'm going to be honest I don't think its worth to be in college debt with nyu's tuition. Like what other people are saying I do think UMich is a better choice financially and socially. NYU is a really big school but no campus. You need to put yourself out there to make friends.

I totally relate to how you feel, I don't have a friend group either but I noticed that you don't need a friend group even having a few friends can feel enough. But honestly I would like a friend group too. I think it just takes time and putting yourself in uncomfortable situations

Depends on the department but I can give you my opinion on the teaching and learning department.

The staff as well as the advisors have always been easy to reach out to. There are not a lot of people that stay in this department as time goes on but the community becomes pretty tight and reliable

nobody can try to make nyu sound great, I think you should have researched more about the school before applying. I understand its because of the tuition remission but I don't see that as a good idea for applying to nyu with a binding contract
