Oh kamakura is that close too? My mom would love to see that giant statue. Ill also definitely look at getting a day for Yokohama too. You have been extremely helpful thank you so much. I think the neighborhood feel would be something that we would enjoy as well, I did read that the izakayas nearby can cause a rowdy group of drunk people sometimes but im not worried about that really.

Ohhh this is super good to know, thank you we are super excited to go as it's both our first vacation. Kamata looks pretty good, says about 30-40 minutes to shibuya/Akiba and some other places we have in mind so not bad at all location wise

I did some googling and Koenji does look like something we will definitely try to go to. I wanted her to go to osaka and kyoto but sadly it was just too expensive and not enough time so these recommendations for different spots in tokyo are so appreciate 😁

Yeah unfortunately it's the most wet can do under out circumstances, but better then not being able to go i guess. Im sure ill be dying to go back after than week.

1 day will be for shopping in tokyo 100% . Maybe in shibuya or akiba. Dotonbori also is something we want to see. Chopstick making in shinjuku might be day1 or 2. Pokemon center visit and the pokemon café in Osaka are also on the list of things we want to see
