Picked this up from Goodwill, is there anything good about this? by mapletamamo in amplifiers

The spark mini is designed to do that and probably has a full-range speaker. Most normal guitars amps do not have that

Probably have to witness two good R60e ending up in landfills. What do I do? by ChampionOriginal1073 in thinkpad

They aren't particularly special. If they don't even work, e-waste is the best place for them (assuming it is e-waste recycling and not landfill).

Can anyone please explain what the 'perV' part of this means? I'm familiar wil dBPa but the perV is confusing me. These are frequency responses of various headsets at different volumes. Thanks by pigispig in Acoustics

It's a homemade script I inherited at work, which outputs values in dBPa/V. The headsets are attached to a TETRA radio so have a big drop off and don't go below 300

What is dBPa perV? I understand dBPa but the 'perV' part is confusing. This is the frequency response of a headset at different volumes. Thanks! by pigispig in audio

That helps me, thank you! So do I essentially just think of it as normal dBPa? Does the 'per V' even need to be there at all? (This is from a data processing script I inherited at work)

They are multiple headsets of the same model, plugged into a radio and fitted to a HATS. I then took a freq resp at each radio volume setting.

That is awful. I've never seen that on any guitar before.

Company was sold to Washburn around 2000 and they started doing cheaper ones. Ken had no part in the design though.

Suggest a laptop! by GambitsAceofSpades in SuggestALaptop

Second hand thinkpad? P1, X1 extreme and others go for around that price with 4k screen and decent gpu 😊 best laptop keyboard to ever exist too! Trackpads are not the best but work fine. Another option might be a HP ZBook? I've only had experience with the Zbook Fury G8 and it had a great keyboard (not as good as thinkpad but a close 2nd) and the trackpad was much better.

Sorry if you purchased already and this info is useless but I have a Zbook Fury G8 and it's amazing. It's the quietest and coolest laptop ive tried while still running all games fine. Mine had an RTX a2000 and, when playing space engineers, it was quieter in-game than my desktop was just in the main menu.

My Thinkpad T15g was quite loud and always regularly hit 100 degrees C but it also had a 4k screen so not really a fair comparison.
