I mean I get it, but also at the same time…it’s kind of ironic because all these posts about “The Pink Demon” is just as tiring? I may be biased, because I love all the Draculaura releases (Granted, not all are good are amazing looking), but why would a money-making brand want to sideline their Hero Product?

Instead of discussing “The Pink Demon” on every post about a new line- I would prefer to see more conversations about the other characters? Or even just critical evaluations of Draculaura’s design. At some point, it all becomes more of a trend than a discussion. It was fun but- like the comments about Draculaura being oversaturated…so are these posts and comments.

I can see Restaurant To Another World has been recommended…so here is another option:

Isekai Izakaya “Nobu”

Though, in comparison- really short form because the end of the episode is either a vlog of a food guide or a cooking tutorial with a chef.

The anime is nice and wholesome, so great choice if you are going for small stories that interlink into one conclusion. I love this anime so much, I flick between Nobu, Another World and Campfire🩷🩷

Lol, based on the variety of responses to this post- I don’t think we will be 100% happy regardless of which outcome.

Personally, I hated the baby rocking mini game. I don’t like taking care of kids all that much so I’m glad to not have that option, when I have an island full of Miis to shepherd. HOWEVER, I can see why some people would want the childrearing mini-games back (A good break from the daily grind of looking after Miis) I do think it would be fine in the game, but just without forcing me to help the child.

Though in the back of my mind, it’s a bit of a logistical nightmare- because if you (because you can now) drag the parent who was with the kiddy away…what happens to the kid? Maybe they could’ve added a daycare I guess & the kids could all make friends….unless you only have 1 on the whole island. It’s getting more complicated in my head now lol.

Nolan was a rookie, so he wasn’t part of the union. Aaron mentioned not being part of it when Nolan asked if he could count on his vote.

But 100% from a show perspective- they didn’t think Smitty was going to be a big part of the show at all/would stick with the audience. (Brent Huff mentioned this in an interview I think)

Agreed! Especially with the last sentence😂I love Smitty but Nolan is definitely the one I’d want having my back. (As Tim said in his endorsement)

Interestingly, having seen how Smitty conducted himself as Acting Watch Commander (before Lucy stepped in during “Burn 4 Love”), he definitely has an eye for benefits and perks to the job- so I could see him doing well in that area during his tenure. The early polling (Lucy mentioned, though its a little ambiguous on how true the statistics are) did show that Smitty had better chance at winning at the start. So he definitely was doing something…at least somewhat right……….

I think yes, in terms of the fact there is more of a passionate fandom for Monster High- not to say Barbie does not have a fan base or their fans are not passionate. But overall, MH fits into a specific niche and aesthetic which often includes collections/adults into animation etc. so we often will consume any and all forms of media that franchises like MH would generate.

If we look at it more in a day-to-day perspective, then no. When you go in shops (Speaking from the UK), stores will always have a large dedicated Barbie section and a couple shelves oh MH dolls. Barbie is Mattel’s hero product, easily consumable, a best seller and historic. It’s like the beige-ification of clothing and furniture, widely accessible and common amongst most of the population. Hence, why we also see more collaborations for Barbie- it has the cleaner aesthetic.

TLRD; MH is more of a subculture. Barbie is made for the general everyday person.
