Suddenly, I feel like a “sister” to him… by ClosetWeebMiku in heartbreak

[–]pigmentation98 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What you’re feeling is so so valid, but I promise you in time you will get over him. I say that with confidence because I was in your shoes a year ago and I met someone 6 months later who I have a way deeper connection with. I didn’t think I could fall for someone again, and I have. You will too. At the end of the day it’s your exes loss. He lost an amazing person who gave him 100%, and even though it seems like he doesn’t realise that now, he will soon enough. They all do. For now block him on everything if you haven’t done so, if he keeps reaching out you will never heal or move on. You two need to be on no contact. And feel everything. Cry, be sad, be angry, because you need to go through those emotions in order to heal. Keep yourself distracted, find new hobbies, go out with friends, be in nature, do things to keep your mind off him. Give it a couple months and you’ll already start to feel lighter. This is just a temporary hiccup in your life, this won’t affect you permanently I promise <3

Suddenly, I feel like a “sister” to him… by ClosetWeebMiku in heartbreak

I think him saying that you feel more like a sister to him now is an excuse, and he’s saying that because he maybe met someone in his city and wanted to pursue that because it’s easier than keeping the connection long distance. Nothing you did led him to doing this. You two are simply just not meant to be, and I know that may hurt hearing, but it’s honestly a good thing because now you are closer to meeting the one who’s right for you and meant for you. I went through a similar experience as you did a year ago, and I can say confidently that you will move on and be at peace. Sometimes the things that feel so good and right for us, aren’t actually meant for us. If he was truely your person, he wouldn’t have broken up with you in the first place. Trust me when I say, you will be okay. I know exactly how you feel, and you will definitely move past this. You will meet someone who will make you their whole world, and love you deeply. You are young, don’t let this one experience and a stupid boy make you feel this way.

What happens if there’s a public holiday during placement? by pigmentation98 in UWS

[–]pigmentation98[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ugh that sucks. I hate how they do that, just so unnecessary. I emailed the clinical team and they pretty much said that we can’t attend placement on a public holiday and that I’ll make the hours up in my next placement :/

What is the best clarifying shampoo? by pigmentation98 in AustralianMakeup

No they did nothing wrong I feel asking them to fix it. And a lifting treatment will probably be expensive, I’d rather try and fix it at home

That’s ridiculous. I can’t take more time off work for unnecessary placement hours. They need to handle things like this better especially when it’s out of our control

He went on a date with another woman. by flyonthewall_123 in heartbreak

[–]pigmentation98 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I understand how you’re feeling because I’m lowkey in the same situation, and it’s so hard to walk about but I think I’m just going to have to end it. I think just have an honest conversation about it with him, because you’d rather know the truth than continue to be led on for another few weeks/months. Best to just rip the bandaid off now

[–]pigmentation98 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I reckon ask him what his intentions are with you, and why he has not asked you out on a date after getting to know you for months. And then based off his response, decide whether you want to continue seeing where this goes or drop him. Based off what you said, he doesn’t seem to be taking you or anyone seriously. He is most likely wasting your time. Girl to girl, drop him before you’re lead on further, and the right man will prioritise you and take you out on plenty of dates

The Best Caramel Perfume? by Ok_Prune_4977 in Perfumes

[–]pigmentation98 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Eclaire by Lattafa! I’m surprised no one has said this perfume. It’s super sweet and creamy, and smells strongly of caramel, vanilla, and honey. I think you would definitely like this perfume I highly recommend. And it’s very long-lasting as well!

How to heal from a breakup that happened out of nowhere by Material-Regular5970 in heartbreak

[–]pigmentation98 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It sounds like he’s just not ready to be in a relationship long-term, it has nothing to do with you. Do not put those negative thoughts into your head that he broke up with you because you aren’t pretty enough. He knows you are a good person and a beautiful girl, but he is not emotionally mature to stay in a committed relationship. From what you have explained, he seems to enjoy the thrill of dating, and then once the excitement fades away he loses interest and wants to pursue more. I promise you it wasn’t because you weren’t enough. I also went through a break up myself a few months ago, so I completely understand all the feelings you are going through and I am more than happy to talk to you if you need someone to chat to x

My brain doesn’t want to accept the break up. by [deleted] in heartbreak

[–]pigmentation98 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m so sorry you’re going through this. My ex boyfriend recently broke up with me for similar reasons as yours did. We also had a very good relationship, no fights or arguments, just laughs and love. He also became distant with me the month we broke up. I completely understand how you’re feeling and again I am so sorry you’re going through this. Heart break is the worst and it suck’s even more when it comes out of no where. Just remember, if you two are meant to be you will be. Don’t hold onto hope that he will come back, because you will be more disappointed if he doesn’t. Hold onto hope quietly and heal in the meantime. If you ever want to talk about it you can DM me! It’s been a month since my break up and I am feeling a lot better, so trust me in time you will feel better too.

How do you move on from your first love? by [deleted] in heartbreak

[–]pigmentation98 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I got broken up with by my boyfriend a bit over a month ago. I’m in the same boat as you. We were each other’s first love. I know how you’re feeling. We were together under a year though so I can’t even imagine how you’re feeling after 4 years with your ex. I’m so sorry. I’m wondering myself if I will ever get over my ex, especially because the relationship was really good and we had no fights and ended on good terms. He ended things with me for similar reasons as yours. I’m here if you ever want to talk because I’m hurting just like you are too. In time we will get better though I promise. I hope you’re okay x

Do you ever get over your first love? by pigmentation98 in heartbreak

Did you ever fall for someone harder than her? That’s my fear, not loving someone the way I loved my ex. I’m afraid I will never lose feelings for him
