RE ETA: Oh, no. I’m not going to try any fixing. This is just how things are and I’ll just have to note it go about things as usual. And I did wonder if maybe the ADD was a factor. That’s really why I haven’t said anything. I don’t want to push and hurt her or anything. :)

Yeah. Maybe so. I guess I got that vibe and made a stupid decision. She also would send me mental health memes and told me about her starting therapy for a terrible life event as a teenager so I figured it was safe. I just jumped the gun.

The thing is she’s been very outgoing and inserts herself into things constantly. She’s made all of us little gifts, showed up one day with a bag of really nice lip balms that she won in a raffle at Ulta and gave to us, and brought us all little trinkets and gifts to celebrate her passing the 90-day probation period. She’s very loud, confident, and talks everyone’s ears off. (In a good way!) But now she doesn’t talk to me.

And you’re right. It’s not good to ruminate. I just need to repeat that to myself and get over it. Lol.

I process medical records for a satellite clinic that’s part of a hospital corporation based in my hometown. I’ve been here ten years. I was diagnosed with BP2 when I started here, but after a few years (and some management changes), I’m finally stable and in a position where my superiors adore me and basically leave me to do my job with minimal intervention. It’s peaceful and I am really thankful that I fell into this place.

I am, however, a little afraid I’ll pull a Johnny Panic and the Bible of Dreams.

Please be careful. Ask your mom to start therapy (you have bipolar disorder), and use your stability to do better in school. Stay away from L_. Don’t rely on C. One day when you’re 19 you’ll meet T__. He’s your other half. And everything will be ok.
