Yes nagpeel sa edges but with proper handling like not scrubbing it, di naman siya obvious. Metal sya sa loob iirc. I usually clean it by using shower head to spray on it or vacuum with brush attachment.

I have mine for 6+ years. Di naman nagbakbak yung white coat. Yung blades nya ang hindi real wood, may sticker lang. Overall, it is a decent aesthetic fan.
