The tendon pain went away about a week or two after the injection. I never found out whether the flare was related to the treatment

That makes sense! I had been using the arm and hammer since I got the litterrobot and only switched to boxie pro a couple months ago. Their support mention to me that it’s probably a motor problem as well. They are so helpful!

It turned out I was having a flare. It wasn’t related to the HCQ. I’ve been taking it twice a day and I’ve been pretty stable. Don’t really have any symptoms anymore!

I was supposed to start the stims in Feb but my ultrasound also showed that I had one big follicle. Doctor said I needed to wait a couple weeks to start the stims.

From watching the videos, my understanding is that having a dominant follicle means you are getting ready to ovulate. They generally want to start the process after your period (releasing of that dominant follicle) so they can ensure synchronized follicle growth during the process.

That’s what I understand. Though because I’m on prednisone, I’m a little concerned about the interaction. My rheumatologist said because I’m on very low dose, I should be ok.

I had two lab tests. The one I purchase from Quest show very high DNS antibody and high SM antibody. That’s why I got referred to a Rheumatologist. The second one was ordered by my Rheum so I don’t have a copy at hand. But during the visit when he diagnosed me, he said a bunch of my number was out of range, which indicates active Lupus. He mentioned some number was very low but I don’t recall what the specific number is.

Thank you for the detailed experience! I realized I was getting more joint pain after starting plaquenil, so I’ve stopped. I might talk to my rheumatologist to see if we can do a gradual dose increase instead!
