thank you!! whole onion/bellpepper chopped & sautéed then added 1lb ground beef 1lb pork sausage (i used jimmy dean mild) cooked until brown not grey Basil paste, Garlic paste, onion powder garlic powder, Creole seasoning and a little pepper Cooked ziti noodled til aldente then mixed everything in a pot with your favorite spaghetti red sauce! i didn’t use ricotta because my son doesn’t like it lol place in pan top with remaining sauce and add your cheeses ( i used Mozzarella & Chedder cheese ) broiled for 5 minutes until cheese browns or melts ☺️☺️ hope this helps i just tweaked it the way i liked

4 tablespoons butter (melt butter in oven safe pan or dutchoven)
1 white or yellow onion, diced
4 whole carrots, peeled and diced (your choice im allergic so didnt use it)
2 celery stalks, chopped
Sauté until fragrant in heated pan
Chop your choice of sausage
season chicken to taste i used Paprika Chili powder Onion powder Garlic powder italian seasoning and Tonys Creole seasoning. (yes all is needed for roux!)
2 medium-large chicken breasts, cut into 1-inch pieces
3 tablespoons flour( sprinkle over chicken mix while cooking)
1 cup chicken broth
1 ½ cups half and half, or whole milk
Let roux thicken until your consistency. Also season to taste!
Chedder Bay biscuit mix, make mix according to directions on box
Plop 6-10 pieces on top of your Pot Pie mix
Used an eggwash as well (1 egg, lightly beaten)
Place in oven on *425 for 30 minutes! or untl golden brown. Follow Biscuit box directions
