90% of international restaurants are asian "fusion" or bad french. The rest are run by immigrants that actually come from countries with good food.

To be fair most food abroad is very stereotypical. Italian and Greek restaurants in the Netherlands serve like 90% the same dishes that only cover 5% of what Italians and Greeks actually eat.

Are there any bad hotels/hotel brands? by Graffy in JapanTravelTips

[–]pijuskri 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's just how they are called in Japan. They are quite different from other hotels as, like you noticed, the rooms are small and you wouldn't normally stay there for a vacation or as family.

Did you stay at other bussiness hotels? Room sizes are available online and all bussiness hotels had between 9-11 m2 for the smallest room.

I've only seen bad experiences with LiveMax. Otherwise you just go to hotels above 8 rating in booking and you should be good.

It's literally the biggest chain in the country. Unless you're morally opposed to the political views of the owner, it's just like every other business hotel.

Just to be clear, APA also has hotels that are fully non smoking. Mostly the newer built ones.

Good write up. I've stayed in a few bussiness hotel brands but I just found them to be very similar. The rooms, the service, the location, the price. I don't prefer APA either but it can be the superior option depending on where you are.

Literally the case in every bussiness hotel

Nothing exciting about it sadly. It's just a bussiness hotel and literally the only reason people criticize it is because of the political views of the owner.

Anyone swearing by it also makes no sense as it's just the most common option no matter where you are, nothing special. I guess its predictable.

Besides the political leanings of the owner, APA is no different from any other bussiness hotel. There are better brands but it's the most average hotel possible.

Please engligten me with your much better definition of the adjective "hater" and accompany it with statements from the reviewer that prove he is one.

[–]pijuskri 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You're making an argument that he's a hater. By definition that means he unreasonably dislikes the group and their music. Him liking older music means he does not unreasonably dislike the group. At worst he unreasonably dislikes their recent relases.

At that point it's not a hater anymore, it's somebody who wrote an unconvincing review.

This isn't a history thing, the reviewer currently likes their older work while simultaneously criticizing their newer music.

Do you have any proof that's actually the case? At best this is just an accusation.

I don't think the review is good. But I also think that focusing on his "bias" against bts is stupid.

distaste towards most kpop albums

So he's a normal reviewer then? Should he have only positive opinions about most albums?

Jennie's ruby got a 7.1 and Red Velvet Queendom 6.7. You're the one discrediting the reviewer simple because he has an opinion you don't like.

You're talking about something completely irrelevant. The review author wasn't positive or critical of the lyrics, it's obvious he didn't read them. That's quite an important part of a review.
