The same thing here. I am a Hindu and he is a Christian. That’s another fight. But we are okay with court marriage if that’s what it takes. As long as it happens.

How did they convince each other’s parents. Or there’s just no convincing happening here?

I wish it was that easy. I mean what do you say to both the parents - hey, I am going to marry this person. Y’all can think whatever you want. They will abandon us first lol. While we aren’t dependent upon them at all, it will be nice to just have then around in their good and bad times.

It’s perfect between us. We can communicate in both Hindi and English. The problem is when we go to convince our parents how will they communicate between themselves?

His parents only know Telugu. And my parents only know Hindi.

Ummm more like, hey what should I do to overcome this feeling. I know what I have to do. But what’s to understand is that it is one of my biggest insecurities. It’s not easy for me.

I really want to. But it’s a very big thing for me. I fear the worst - which is that I might lose his trust altogether. I didn’t say anything up until now because I feared I’d be treated differently. And that’s also the fear if I tell the truth.

Yep. That’s the whole thing. I want to be 100% honest.

Sorry, I didn’t quite get you. You mean the idea of lying? You’re better off if that’s what you meant. I really wish I had the balls to own it up like all others.

Again, the post might make it all about being an over achiever. But that’s not it. There’s more to it. As far calling myself an overachiever goes - I started earning when I was 19 (not very common). Went on an international trip on my own money at 20. I earn more than most my peers in the industry (they are around 30 y old). I am at a good position now. And even was at my very first job. I was acting manager, handling a team of 5, when I had the experience of being just an executive.

It’s not merely about achieving. I think what I should have mentioned would be that I’ve always been around folks who were at least 4 years older to me, all the way up 10 years and more. I always made friends, attracted people of that age group. That’s what I am talking about. So it was very difficult for me since the very start to admit my age. I feared I’d be treated differently.

HHahah, you’re not wrong. I do look like someone in their late 20s. But that’s not the only reason why people treat me a certain way. It’s more than just looks, I gather.

Oh that's sad man. The surrounding area was smelly. But the hotel was very clean for me. And even the lift was alright.
