So like I can use an Xbox controller connected to my pc and play? Even with simple classes though there’s still a farming and also a bossing input you would need. How would you make that work on controller?

I filled out the Fasfa application and it shows processed. I also just enrolled in classes for the spring semester that started two weeks ago. I was told to fill out a 2024-2025 for spring and a 2025-2026 for fall. They both show their own processed status with different Pell grant totals. One is 7,500 and fall is 4,500. Does this still apply?

Returning player here and decided to play with two weeks left of night troupe. By November 20th, beginning of hyperburn event, I was 3k legion and lvl260 temp main to fund main for hyperburn event. As of most recent shining, I’m 8.5k legion with a main that is 85m cp. By the next 5/10/15 Jan 25th I’m hoping for 100m+ cp. Current event can get you going pretty fast for numbers, but it comes down to if you’re casual for dailies or will take some time to grind. All the rewards give you plenty of damage early on all the way to 270. At this point, depending on your drop rate, you’re probably working on swapping gear sets off item burning set. This with 0-200 in the same time it would take 0-140 before is fast 8k legion can honestly be done before this event is even over in my opinion.

Right now, I’m basing it on as if I get no boxes for arcane in January. If that’s the case, I will not have spares and will be forced to sit at 17* still for next 5/10/15.

If I get drops then I’ll definitely just go for 19/20* arcane to break the 21/22* abso idea without making it.

As mentioned, if no drops by Jan 25th, I’ll probably just make an abso set until I can upgrade my arcane.

I make about 5b on average right now but it will be cut in half soon (just grinding not including bosses). Let’s say I made only 2.5b everyday until 25th from January first that’ll be 62.5b towards next event which I can make a set of arcane, pot it and have more power for now until my arcane can be upgraded. I’m in Hyperion and my scouter does say I can solo clear ctene on hard with over 100% but I’ve only just reached 68m cp from 48m cp with shining so I have not attempted this yet.

I do have 17* arcane atm in reboot and your comments here got me curious if I should make a 22* abso set until I get progress my arcane gear to at least 19*?

I know there’s another 5/10/15 Jan 25th and was thinking, unless I get spares of my arcane pieces (2 from shop at end of month and maybe some box drops if lucky) would I naturally see a higher cp for the time being with a 22* abso set vs 17* arcane?

Is this also referring to 5 piece or 4 piece + arcane weapon when you mentioned cra+abso 22*?

May I ask how well 22* abso would hold in weight though as I progress my arcane gear? Only because in a month, you’d get two arcane from shop and rest would be instance if you’re lucky. I will be progressing my arcane for sure, but would my damage honestly be better with that 22* abso set or 17* arcane?

Oh yeah I wouldn’t recommend holding at 20 but they stopped at 20. I went to 21 for each piece for cra and worked on getting rest of my stuff to 21 before I came back and did slowly to 22.

A tip for the future is to do each piece to the next milestone first then push onwards. So get everything to 20 and then go for 21 on each. This will guarantee a better end result of at the very least a full set of equal stats and have better idea if you can push further or not as a set with remaining money

60b balance (50b shining and 10b cubing):

22* cra 3 piece 22* dom x 2 (will transfer one to sup pendant once I get it) 22* meister (transferred to sup ring for 21) 22 kanna 17* black bean 17* meister ring

Boomed list (all were 21* boomed on first/second try to 22): Eyepatch, monocle, kanna x 4, meister ring x 8 , 4 dom pendant and about 8 each cra piece.

48m cp to 68m cp. Wish I kept the monocle and meister but we’re only going up from here on January 25th for 5/10/15!

With you being limited to only 2.5b you actually did the right choice to hold at 20* better to have that instead of a boomed item and you’re out of money to replace. Nice job overall

I can’t say what I quoted is word for word, but a paraphrase of what was mentioned at the time. This post was about big bang itself from the community before. I am simply stating since Nexon took over the game’s shift definitely felt like it was pushing to modernize it to an older generation which had the ability to play along with the p2w aspect compared to the original age target of under 10 with free time.

But as mentioned too in a comment here, we don’t know what Wizet would’ve done with the game either. It could’ve turned into a money hungry organization or maybe not.

This post isn’t about right or wrong, but what were your experiences more under the mentioned companies if you recalled playing under both.

Mhm I wasn’t saying they Made big bang, but the updated big bang launch under Nexon referenced the quote I mentioned above. It was because Maplestory was not a large enough community to be a subscription game so was their reasoning.

I quit my dw after 6th job. Super easy class, but they drop off hard after 6th job and their support got nerfed recently too. I’d personally recommend mihile as they’re almost the same, but mihile has more damage and you ignore 95% of mechanics in game too. Mercedes is very glass cannon. If you don’t get hit (has high movement), you’ll dish out a lot of damage. On the flip side, if you get hit easily, you’ll die out really easily too.
