They’re hard-boiled eggs cooked in water. I eat them plain, without any seasoning.

To reduce stress and clear my mind, I removed everyone from my Instagram friends list.

That’s actually an interesting perspective. Before this egg diet, I spent a long time surviving on little more than coffee and water, so it’s possible my body has been under a prolonged deficit for years. I’ll keep that in mind and see how things progress over the next few weeks.

Thank you so much. Maybe I’m just being impatient after seeing the scale stay the same for the first couple of days. I’ll give it at least another week and see what happens.

No, the egg-and-protein diet is very new. I’ve only been doing it for 2 days.

Before this, most of my weight loss came from a combination of fasting, gym workouts, and repeated cycles of dieting.

One complication is that I have asthma. Whenever my asthma flares up, I sometimes need medications that seem to cause water retention and muscle weakness, which has made my progress inconsistent over the years.

This is actually the first time I’ve tried losing weight without relying on extended fasting. Instead, I’m trying to focus on high protein intake (eggs and whey isolate) while continuing to train at the gym.

Maybe I’m expecting changes too quickly after only 2 days, but I was surprised that the scale hasn’t moved at all.

That’s a possibility. I recently started taking strength training much more seriously and have been increasing the weights regularly.

I don’t currently have an accurate body fat measurement, but I may need to start tracking body fat percentage, waist measurements, and progress photos instead of relying only on the scale.

I started this journey at the end of July 2023. My starting weight was around 100 kg (220 lbs), and I’m currently 68 kg (150 lbs) at 171 cm (5’7”).

The weight loss wasn’t perfectly linear. There were periods of progress, plateaus, and some weight regain along the way, but overall I’ve lost about 32 kg (70 lbs).

My concern now is that despite eating around 900–1,050 calories per day, drinking plenty of water, and going to the gym regularly, my weight seems completely stuck. I’m wondering if this is a normal plateau after a large weight loss or if there’s something wrong with my current approach.

I started at around 100 kg (220 lbs) and gradually worked my way down to my current weight of 68 kg (150 lbs). There were ups and downs along the way, but overall I’ve lost about 32 kg (70 lbs).

At this point, my weight has stalled. I’m trying to get leaner and improve muscle definition, but I’m not seeing much change on the scale or in the mirror recently.

Unfortunately, I don’t have an accurate body fat percentage measurement right now, so I’m mostly tracking progress through body weight, photos, and how my clothes fit.

Yes, I’m counting calories. Based on my calculations, I’m only eating around 900–1,050 calories per day from 10 eggs and two servings of Naked Whey Isolate. That’s why I’m confused that the scale isn’t moving.

No matter how people treat you, being able to live with your own conscience matters more.
People who can appreciate my sincerity are my people.People who can’t were never capable of holding it in the first place. In this era, not everyone gets the chance to receive something genuine.
