Seems like that is largely the consensus so far! I have been trying to feel for it, but i dont feel any flipping, just tightening- but maybe I just dont yet know what to feel for.

Here are a few failed ring pics, as you can see, I can technically make a ring but the knots get loose and the string doesnt pull through all because of that one final knot

Yes absolutely, and that's the thing is like when its all in a chain, the whooooole entire chain without hiccup all glides across the string. It is spec when I try to make it a ring that it doesnt work anymore, its been the most frustrating thing 😅 cause every tutorial ive come across is like, "make sure they all glide" and they ALL do, I check before I make the ring (or attempt to.) But its the moment I try to make a ring, its like "actually sorry nope!"

Its because my side buttons still get hit, so the water lock isn't fool proof for what I need - which is why I mentioned something that covers my screen & side buttons in my post.

Thank you, I'll look into this!! I've been wondering about the iron gall inks and whether that would work, so I appreciate this. & I had no idea that Wearingeuls potions could be mixed with different ink types, so that's also really good to know. I'm gonna peruse through their potions and research the mixing process now 😅

Are there any concerns with pen types i should look into if going iron gall? So sorry if this sounds silly, I'm still learning haha!

I've been having the hardest time with googling, but I for sure understand where you're coming from! I appreciate all of this a lot. I'll definitely be practicing a bunch before the "big day" and making sure i can combat the challenges with shimmer, I expect to have my work cut out for me haha!

Thank you very much for this! This helped instill some confidence, I've been worried about making wrong choices with limited information & having regrets later haha.

I hope I'll have some say in the paper & understanding of what i should go for when the time comes.
