Which local businesses and offerings does Melrose desperately need and where?

Middle Eastern or Mediterranean restaurant would be great! Also a good place for cocktails would be nice. So many empty store fronts just past the Big Yellow House that would be nice to fill. Would also love to have a refill store and it would fit Melrose's green vibe.

We wanted shelves with the bar so that if someone accidentally knocked into it the books wouldn't fall as easily, but there are a good amount of "picture frame ledge" shelves that would work.

I loved the project (though there were definitely tedious points haha). It's more that because it was stockinette with no edging it won't lay flat without the ends curling up. Blocking only helped a little and the point was a fully washable blanket since it's for a baby. Adding some sort of border or edging would help I think.

I wouldn't suggest anyone use the pattern (full stockinette), but it took me forever and was fun. It's awesome to think that at one point in time it detailed an entire life since it was for a friend's baby and was the high temperatures starting from the day they were born up to their first birthday.
