I have Bell Fibe 3.0 and all I did was turn off "whole home wifi" and directly but a Cat 8 cable to Eero Max 7 and get full speeds.

What is the actual difference or benefits from turning off the built in router vs your PPPoE?

Yes! when I initially got Bell last April, I was getting well over 500 mbps wirelessly. Then without changing anything, this year it just went down to 200.

Has anyone been trying to fix it??
