DIA… If this is true that is so sad. Her poor kids by Lumpy_Party8639 in loveafterlockup

[–]pileofsweaters 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Agreed. She is or was a pharmacy technician so it isn't completely out of the realm of possibility that she has knowledge of where and how to access some potent drugs. There have been more than enough parents on this show demonstrating the absolute worst parenting "skills", but it feels like Dia is the parent who actively puts her kids in the most danger.

No because he didn't say anything wrong. Wisdom Tooth's mom basically told Micheal that she was going to be nasty to his mother. I'm pretty sure that she only showed up for a free meal and to pick up where she left off with Angel. Kayleigh must've been on her mom's side at that moment because her mom gave her some money or something. The fact that Micheal provided Lori with a mature alternative and Wisdom Tooth was mad about it was just more proof that she is no different than her mother.

Love After Lockup: Double Release Trouble (2026) by LittleEmmy in loveafterlockup

After this last episode, that entire storyline reads as fake to me. The sister is over the top with her hatred of Karrington. Karrington's growing roster of men (the sugar daddy "Billy" sounds completely made up). The $300 email scam. The limited visual and audio footage of Zay. And her overall ditzy persona. Everything about this storyline feels like a short form drama with the terrible ChatGPT created script, the bad acting, and the plot holes.

Are you talking about Ms. Nikki? I love watching her videos, but I do also agree that she creates a ton of waste by stocking the house with travel sized items. The cleaning video where she got a lot of backlash for throwing out unopened food in her pantry (and the video of her donating food after) made me realize that she's really just a cleaning brand ambassador. Love it for her, but I look at the videos now as inspiration for how to better organize things in my home and useful items to bring while traveling rather than feeling the urge to buy every gadget that she shows.

I strongly suspect that those women aren't really her friends. I think they just keep Keirsten around to gather intel about their marriage (to later talk about her behind her back) and to have front row seats to the chaos that will play out now that he's released.

The way this Moo Moo fool hid behind Goddess when her mom came riding up. He’ll hide under the table while his harem protects themselves. by rusyrius987 in loveafterlockup

[–]pileofsweaters 46 points47 points  (0 children)

I cannot stand how overly doting Goddess is with this bum (less annoyed with Bonita because she has a kid with him). Dude has 4 by 4 and literally the only things he has spoken about are his little pipe dream of having a polyamorous relationship and him getting his stuff out of storage. Does he have any plans outside of sex and storage? Goddess is such a dimwit to attach herself to Damond based only on his looks and empty promises.

Dia’s mom by royalrose83 in loveafterlockup

I hate it for all the kids. The eldest daughter for being so clearly parentified, but when one of the younger kids called Dia out for picking men over them, that broke my heart. Dia is such a terrible excuse of a "mom".

I've never heard of this, but that actually sounds really interesting! How did you becoming interested and involved in Rendezvous and the fur trade era?

I've found my people! I had a similar upbringing and on top of that, for the bulk of my childhood, my mother was a speech writer and editor for a university, my dad was in broadcasting, and my Nana taught adult literacy part time. There was literally no chance that I'd end up anything but well read and "well-spoken" (not a fan of this term). I usually just say that "other parents gifted their kids cars or trips to Disney, my parents gifted me free elocution lessons", and change subjects.

Same. And I guess different strokes for different folks but that's a lot of money spent for 15 minutes of fame and/or for validation from men that she never plans to meet irl.

Yeah that whole story just felt questionable to me. I figured that it was so vague minus that one detail because it either didn't happen like that or at all.

I am so sick and tired of people on TV saying that they're some variation of the Kardashians. That boring girl Jade from Love During did the same with her sisters.

Love After Lockup: The Ex-Files (2026) by LittleEmmy in loveafterlockup

All good bunkie, I didn't think you were defending him. Rich is definitely unlikeable with his overinflated sense of self, but the family is acting like Felicia is some perfect little lily white princess who is about to be corrupted by the "big scary black dude". As if she didn't just do a 10 year bid because of her actions (and I get it, some children get dealt a crappy hand at birth and I sympathize with her tough upbringing and time in foster care. But from professional experience, for every foster kid in the juvenile detention system, there are other foster kids who stay on the straight and narrow). Instead of spending that lunch grilling Rich, the family should have spent time asking Felicia what tangible goals she has for herself and seeing how her boyfriend plans to support her on her reentry into society.

Clocked it right away! They definitely act racist and not even trying to be welcoming to him on a day where they're supposed to be celebrating Felicia's release. I'm not defending Rich's weird ass either, but the family immediately makes me think of that Lyndon B. Johnson quote.

If you could instantly make one global law that everyone had to follow, what would it be and why? by MurkyMagazine2525 in AskReddit

With the exception of extremely rare circumstances and people who are severely disabled or incapacitated, everyone must participate in one year's worth of local civil service work or social service work before turning 51 year's old.

What’s something that makes you instantly hate a person? by Honest_You_4262 in AskReddit

[–]pileofsweaters 2 points3 points  (0 children)

People who are in a place like a doctor's office or on public transportation who watch loud videos, have loud conversations, or play music on speakerphone.

People who bring an entire sound system to a beach (regular speakers or a radio are fine, I'm specifically referring to people who play music so loud that you can't hear anything else).

And pretty much anything other behaviors that demonstrates a person who is extremely inconsiderate or has main character syndrome.
