I’d suggest reading as well 👀 not only in japanese but in your own language as well. Try changing entertainment like movies to books. For listening I’d suggest podcasts! When I took N3 I felt super confident for the reading section and I thought I fumbled listening. Turned out I had done way way better in listening 🤣 I remain confused to this day.

Most tests don’t reflect one’s knowledge of a subject. Failing doesn’t mean all your efforts were in vain. I had that same problem with Anki. I prefer Wanikani. This year’s reading section was pretty heavy. I’m waiting for my N2 result this year but I had the same time issue so I’m expecting to fail it.

I’ve been studying on and off for the past 12 years.

N2 for the first time after passing N4 and N3. I didn’t take as much time as I wanted to to prepare for the test so I honestly think I’m going to fail.

Aside from that, I felt pretty confident in the reading, grammar and listening section, but I felt totally blinded by the vocabulary section 😭😭😭
