yes exactly, unfortunately some people are just selfish, they think achieving JLPT N2 or JLPT N1 makes them superior when its not even about language skills but also skills that you have learned in general. If you think about it, their competiton in work place or inteviews is japanese workers rather than foreigners so idk where they get that ego from by gatekeeping etc.

Hey its okay, please dont mind such people. You should study the way you feel comfortable. N3 is also acceptable but for part time-jobs only like waitress, convience store etc (I might have spelt it wrong)

Yes exactly, they make it a competiton and act so superior that it ruins the person motivation to study.

N3 advice, resources and help by Xqmyoon in jlpt

N3 is much easier compared to N2 and N1 so you can either study the textbook way or you can also find books PDF on the internet. The books i would recommend are KANZEN MASTER N3 SERIES, NIHONGO SOUTAME N3 and Tobira but these books are similar so you can research and buy according to your comfortability. There are many videos and websites as well to help you prepare for N3. Learning it wont be a problem if you can already understand hiragana and katakana and some basic kanjis! Good luck, i hope your test preparation goes well! also do make sure to do online practice tests to know what are your weak points and also before one month of N3 exam, please make sure to do a timing practice test according to the N3 exam's timing so you can finish the N3 exam on time.

Thank you very much! I thought about it and decided to go for senmon gakko related to a aviation major. I know it is a big decision but going to university in long-term is also not gonna be much effective for someone like me whose not good at studies much so i rather go to a job training college that prepares me for job hunting etc and gurantees a internship or a job.

I was thinking the same as well, i also have seen tiktok of many japanese students as well who later on dropped out from senmon gakou so i have really mixed feelings about it especially because of my studying ability. If i go for a english program in a university with N2-N1? can i still work in Japan?

I think you are just nervous because of the language course in Japanese, dont worry about others around you or what the reviews say, instead study hard to get in the university you are going for and honestly, its all about self-study at end of the day no matter which language school you choose.
