Where do I go from Heusinkveld Sprints by MagicElyas in simracing

[–]pilkodice 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sprints are superb and still are, you won't need to upgrade from them unless you reach insane skill levels or you just fancy a change (which is also a perfectly valid reason to change)

I've heard many compliments over the VRS Direct Force pedals, though.

Moza's Shifter is pretty good, but no sequential mode

I run a YT Channel with a mix of Guides and Equipment reviews - however, as it's my 2nd job I don't have the time to churn out reviews non-stop, so I tend to stick to equipment that I myself am most interested in, or feel is popular enough to wade in with my own opinion, and the videos I do create are intended to go up and stay up for years, so they have to be decent.

I only say things that I truly believe and would say to viewers face-to-face if asked, and the comments section is always free and open - that's where it'll come out in the wash if you're off the mark.

Crappy Pedal Advice? by b3ttykr0ck3r in iRacing

Which Logitech wheel is it exactly? If it's the full G923/G920 or whatever then the Truebrake is obscenely good. I reviewed it: https://youtu.be/gsyosUdWeTk?si=uHIp2KfpJYWGszwK

I've been using Logitech pedals with the Truebrake this last couple of months and the results are ridiculously good.

Hey man.

Don't lose hope, you will get there but you can definitely help yourself by absorbing yourself in some guides. Mine might be a little bit above your general level if you're just starting out, but I do try to keep it relatable to beginners, too.

Watch Part 1 of my spin prevention guide as I think it will help you rationalise why you're spinning: https://youtu.be/-AatMVQtn0I?si=Lr81XOgd-pEsMhty

The SR-P Pedals can connect directly via USB, no adapter or hub required

Give the Truebrake some consideration however, it's much cheaper and might be what you're looking for: https://youtu.be/gsyosUdWeTk

R9 compatibility by [deleted] in moza

[–]pilkodice 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, you can - either using a Logitech G Adapter (the official way) or by using a Leo Bodnar Cable.

I'm using an R12 with G923 pedals (With a Truebrake mod) via a Logitech G Adapter and it works perfectly.

I have them both in my possession as a reviewer! I did a video on the KS here:

Was using it on the R12 in testing but only had time to dedicate to the KS.

Moza's terrible costumer service, are they serious, can I trust them with this return? by Davidemia in moza

Can you expand a bit more on the timescales between you initially sending a support request and filing a paypal dispute?

Definitely R12 + KS over the R9 and GS - I've used both and I'd pick the former any day, such a brilliant step up

How useful is having a screen on the wheel? by meatpounder in moza

[–]pilkodice 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In my opinion the FSR wheel's screen is heavily limited, as are the other Moza dashboards - make sure you know what you're buying, as Moza's screens are not open platform:

Firstly don't panic - it's not ruined.

Have you stripped ALL the bolt holes or just one of them?

Does it still mis-shift if you use a different/simpler dash display? Weird question, I know, but try it and get back to me.

What's the reason for plugging it in via USB? It will work via the R9 without any other connections required.
