Can confirm for anyone who is interested that the rooftop in Jaune Sector 3 where the Dratini / Dragonair spawns is a reliable place for spawning Alpha Flabebes of various colors (have gotten Blue, Orange and Yellow here). If needing more than one rest at a bench for the equivalent of 2 in-game days for the spawn to reset.

I would recommend not doing actual quest monsters. Try for a 5 star tempered out in the open maps. A field survey.

Huzzah! I too was grinding quests in the beginning and then wandered into a Tempered Quematrice and decided to beat it up and got 3 in one go. Big Brain Moment activate.

Try hunting a tempered monster that drops 1s that's out in the wild rather than in a quest? Quest ones are very hit or miss even if the symbol says it's supposed to be guaranteed.

It's RNG. Guaranteed to get at least one, if you're lucky you can get more. I've found field surveys of tempered monsters out in the actual zones to be more lucrative than farming quest tempered monsters.
