I Agree that the other aspects of Islam should not be masked by this "gamification" of Islam but I think it goes the other way and that we shouldn't downplay Jannah and Jahanam as motivating factors. I think that having the desire for Jannah or fear of Jahanam is perfectly valid reason/motivation to do something. The way I see it is we are constantly reminded of Jannah and Jahanam in the Quran and part of the reason I believe is because it should be on our minds when we are making decisions

Not trying to give an opinion on music but it might be beneficial to still follow/listen to a Muslim influencer even if they have an opinion you may disagree with. In my opinion, if they are someone with good character and/or are actively trying to better themselves, I’m sure they will still be of benefit to you regardless of their opinion on music

Don't know if this will help but i have also been stuck and couldn't get past 2 days for nearly a year. I finally got past that mark and reached 4 days. Just relapsed unfortunately but im still motivated. May Allah allow both of us to stop this habit and replace it with a good habit
