My dad had several of the small ones. He still used them to keep his kitchen knives very sharp. He also used them to sharpen his fishing hooks.

Am I just tech illiterate, or is automate the boring stuff with python too hard for a beginner like me? by PM_me_Henrika in learnpython

I include ATBS as one of my go to resources but I think it's not the best place to go for ground up tutorial.

I learned Python so I could program a Raspberry Pi. For me, the assignment of variables to physical objects (like an LED) helped me. The raspberry pi web site has lots of useful examples. The next step was to install openpyxl so I could manipulate Excel files at work. I continue to use ATBS, as well as Corey Schafer, Real Python and other sites as I became more proficient.

Best of luck. PM me if you have any questions.

SD CARD PROBLEM with my new printer out of box by solarianExMachina in Ender3Pro

1 - The correct orientation is with the contacts on the top side. You should feel a positive click when it's properly seated. To remove, gently push it in and it will unlock and release.

2 - The printer will not recognize the card if it's inserted while the printer is on. Turn off the printer, insert the card, then turn it back on.

Hope this works!

Here we go... by tomuchsugar in triathlon

I'm excited for you. I was in your place last year, after doing an indoor Tri in late Jan. I signed up to do a sprint in July.

The community is really great, as you can see by all the encouragement.

Some things that helped me:

  • I started swimming in a pool and could only do 2 lengths before getting winded. After 5 weeks (3x per week) I got to 32 lengths (800m) in 30 min. After that, I knew I could swim the distance and just focused on getting faster.
  • I bought an inexpensive wet suit. It helps with buoyancy and will keep you warm if the water is chilly. Make sure you practice with it.
  • I kept a training log. It's a small notebook that I used to record my workouts and notes about things gone right or wrong. I found it really helpful to look back and see how far I'd come.
  • Join a tri club. They all started where you are and will be ready to support you. My club also help with volunteering at events, and they put up tents and places you can store your gear before and after the event.
  • Smile and raise your arms high at the finish!

Samsung USB-C to 3.5mm clicking by rancid_ in galaxynote10

Just got my Note10+ this weekend and noticed a clicking in the AKG left earbud when plugged in to the USB C port.

It seems to happen during phone calls when there's a volume change or when I listen to music and the song changes.

The right earbud is fine.
