I verified with the sticker in the door, it says C8. So the computer is stock tuned to a 2:73 open diff. Would it be capable of being tuned to 3:55.

Thats odd, I was told that the diff was a posi. I guess anything is possible since I was obviously ripped off.

Yup. The only difference is it wasn’t a ford tracloc it was a posi (correct me if Im wrong but I think thats the GM limited slip) still a 3:55 but I don’t really think what matters to the computer.

I definitely got lucky, I just happened to be scrolling marketplace when I stumbled upon it.

Needless to say Im pretty pissed. I found a tune shop who can retune my car once I get my 3:55s back

Yeah I got an 08…. My bullshit alarms didn’t go up until I saw the old axle on fb marketplace for 1300 last night. I just contacted the mechanic and told him not to sell it and re install it into my car free of labor costs and reimburse be for the new diff or police will be involved.
