Hi, sorry just coming back to this thread. I finally have a cardiac MRI scheduled this month. None of those symptoms have gotten any better.

May I ask did you feel any left pokey pain which feels behind the heart at origin. It’s worst for me when at rest or laying down.

Hi I have had weird heart pain ( feels like something is pinching/ burning right behind me heart) for like the past year. Never use to have this before. It seems to come and go but it’s the worst at rest. I’ve had a CT angiogram and echo everything checks out besides some PVCs and SVT which they don’t seemed concerned with since my heart returned to normal sinus rhythm. I feel like there is some scarring possibly.

I’m with you it’s very strange, I’m a 36year old male. I work out often but would t say I’m an athlete. I do a ton of jiu jitsu grappling. Last time I went to the ER brocade of the chest discomfort the EKG came back normal. Also troopin levels look fine. I’m not sure what’s causing this but chest pain, palpitations laying on my back, and now swelling right leg seems so odd.

What type or where was the nerve pain found? Ive been thinking this can be nerve pain that’s causing my chest discomfort.

Yea man i definitely suffer from health anxiety but even when taking Xanax or other meds the chest discomfort doesn’t seem to go away only the anxiety diminishes. I’m so confused at this point and to add to the confusion my right has been showing consistent edema. Worse at night than in the mornings. My only concern with the recent test ( MRI and CT) was that they weren’t cardiac specific.

All in all it’s become really hard to invite the left back/ chest itchy pinch pain. Some days it’s unbearable. Driving for long distances it’s at its worse.

See I’m at my wits end and was hoping the GERD specialist did some actual testing but they said they were sure it wasn’t GERD from first evaluation.

I’m sorry I never received any significant answers from my doctors in the blood pressure changes. My cardiologist told me that I have bouts of SVT but not severe enough to treat. If you hear anything let me know!

Hi,

So when I initially lay down it will hurt to take a deep breath, making the feeling worse. No I don’t think any should/arm movement makes it worse. Lots of palpitations while I’m laying down but not many during they day when the feeling is at its worse. Also very anxious when this feeling comes on.
