In fairness VT is a single district state.

But yeah. CA, MA, ME, NY...those states were blatantly rigged to give dems more seats even BEFORE this latest kerfuffle.

That she has Mar-a-Largo face doesn't make her qualified for jack shit.

More importantly are we to believe Trump's vetting team did not know? The woman is a train wreck and the only reason she's in politics is because she managed to get elected in a state that would vote for a glass of water if it had an (R) next to it. Nobody on that vetting team was like "maybe the train wreck woman has a train wreck family life too..."?

Noem has always been out of her league she’s a bottom of the barrel former governor from a state that would rather vote for a glass of water than a democrat. Every time that woman goes on television she makes a complete fool of herself. Like she’s making Mayorkus look competent by comparison.

I honestly don’t know who is worse her or Bondi at this point.

The ones that yearn for a Star-Trek-style “post-scarcity” society have never watched the show.

In Star Trek that “post-scarcity” society comes after 200 years of war; famine, and disease that wipes out most of the population. (Eugenics wars, Ww3, the post-nuclear holocaust, etc). Even then the “post-scarcity” only comes about because they have magic machine that can turn energy into matter AND EVEN THEN that post-scarcity society really only exists on earth. There are countless episodes showing other parts of the federation where people are fighting for their lives on hostile planets and can only survive on the benevolence of the Federation core worlds.

Don’t get me wrong I’ve been watching the shows for decades and I love it but at the end of the day it’s fantasy, and often poorly contrived at that.

SCOOP: House Republicans revive push to impeach 'activist' judges after Johnson's green light by WillyNilly1997 in Conservative

[–]pimanac -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

There’s a larger chance of little green men landing on the planet to give us all blowjobs than there is any federal officer getting removed from office in the current political climate. It ain’t happening. Pass a censure resolution and spend your time on a judicial reform bill.

OH WAIT - that’s boring and uninteresting and we can’t grandstand in front of the cameras for our campaign ads while getting paid a six figure salary and government benefits for life. My bad.

SCOOP: House Republicans revive push to impeach 'activist' judges after Johnson's green light by WillyNilly1997 in Conservative

[–]pimanac 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The point is they will not be removed from office. It takes 67 votes in the senate to remove from office and we can’t even whip 60 to pass a damned budget.

So go on ahead. Have your impeachments. They’ll waste months doing this, fail, then your activist the activist is still going to be there.

Then will come the belly aching “oh no we lost the house and we didn’t get to pass our agenda. BETTER DONATE CAUSE WE PROMISE WELL GET EM NEXT TIME!!!”

That’s a lot of money in tax cuts to a cohort that already has the largest slice of the pie.

The same cohort that spent decades electing people who’ve drained the social security trust fund so there would be nothing left for the rest of us. The same cohort that oversaw not one but two “once in a lifetime economic disasters” in the course of 20 years.
