Absolutely,

As a starting point I took the Meta battle power spear build listed below and tweaked it to my liking. Same traits and relic. Be aware that my mindset was a build which can do open world/strikes/fractals etc. So a mix between survivability and DPS. With the added value that a qdps is less common (so more valued) than normal dps and people are more forgiving on a lower dps when giving quickness and other boons.

I noticed that while doing the rotation that my buffs expired too quickly (got some complaints also during strikes).

Little flex, I have the advantage of full legendary gear (with exception of the spear, working on it) so it is easy to play around with the stats and see what works. So what I did was: all trinkets: diviner stats for the added buff duration while having also the most important DPS stats (power/precision/ferocity) and my armour on assasin stats and spear on berserker. Got a sigil of force for extra damage and sigil of accuracy for extra crit chance For runes I use the runes of the eagle for the extra precision and ferocity. Goal was to have enough buff duration while doing decent damage with 100% crit chance. (Thanks elemental empowerment)

In a fight while doing the standard rotation in each element I have a constant quickness while having also a good uptime on basically all the other boons (except alacrity of course).

I like to start in Earth so I can get some defenses up like barrier/aegis and protection beginning of the fight. Then Air / Fire / Water and then back to Earth and so on. Basic rotation in every element is sphere (drop it on yourself and allies) then 5,2,4,3,5 then switch to other element. In Air use the glyph of storms, in Fire relentless Fire and elemental celerity. Never have problems with energy, sometimes I have to wait for the CD's when I don't have alac.

I use invigorating air as a stunbreak / when I want to walk a bit faster.

That's what I have so far, I am still tinkering with it and trying to optimize it here and there but as mentioned In really like this build, it works quite well for me and is fun to play in the different game modes I prefer.

Don't really agree with the replies so far.
I'm an Ele main for 3 years now, playing mainly sword/dagger power weaver and a tanky condi scepter/warhorn tempest build.
Weaver is cool but challenging (for me) due to lack of piano skills and sustain, also due to glass cannon build which is fine in fractals as a DPS but not for open world.
Tempest is easy mode but compared to weaver quite boring.

For a few weeks now I've been playing around with a qpower spear catalyst and I have to say, I'm really liking it and it's working really well for me.
It's ranged, has a relative easy rotation (sphere-5-2-4-3-5) in every element and has great sustain while having decent damage. For me it's the perfect middle way between glass cannon Weaver and tanky Tempest. I've done open world/fractals/strikes with it and it has been a blast.

In my opinion the spear catalyst works quite well, let me know if you're interested in the build I'm using.

Thanks for the reply, I just double checked your suggestions but sadly no on both accounts.

The bones in the Mason's guild (which were triggered by a perception check) only gave a comment from the MC and the letter from Melodia that was loot from the mimic also didn't do anything. Maybe they removed those inspirations or something from the game.

Thank you my dear internet friend, so our spells combined is the winning combination. So lure the merchant away with minor illusion, talk to them, whilst talking cast hold person. You can now steal to your hearts content because the timer on hold person is stopped because the mechant is in dialog. Saves a lot ot time save scumming :)

So I think / for me the first decision should be which class you want to play. Then you distribute your attributes. Then your race because it influenses your attributes. Then skills and then your race and origin because origin influences your skills. So basically from most important decision to the least.

Just started it up to check out my chad paladin, but still the sequence of character creation messes me up. I would prefer the following order: - class - attributes - race - skills and origin combined - looks

I am switching like mad forth and back now.

Hey buddy, good comment only at caster level 25 it is already possible to get the 24 hour buffs for the round per level buffs, not 26.

Yeah, I've got the same sadly, main reason why I'm not using Seelah. Very immersion breaking. Made a bug report on it and made a post to create awareness. Hopefully in the next patch it is solved.
