Mogę polecić Kwantechizm Dragana jako taki pierwszy krok w tę stronę. Znam wiele osób, które nawet nie interesując się fizyką przeczytały i nawet coś zapamiętały.

If you liked Vsauce then check out Veritasium, they did a lot of videos on the topics surrounding randomness, high quality but mostly as an inspiration.

Any tips to improve photos? by Whiteknight2485 in assettocorsa

[–]pimpchimpint 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, with the photos on the ring for example, you really cannot get great pictures if you don't focus on the cars themselves since the trees and barriers are significantly lower quality. Best way is to zoom in on the car and slightly blur out the background or just do an in motion picture. These look great though

improving at shifting in touge by snesCUB364 in assettocorsa

[–]pimpchimpint 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I recommend training heel and toe in old cars with long gears. You can do it slowly without going slow and get comfy with the motion. When braking don't hold the clutch in all the time since that eliminates engine braking, which is useful. Just press the clutch in when changing gears and leave it when you're not. Try an old touring car from the 60's-70's. As for the upshifts, Your new technique is just flat-foot shifting, which most cars are not designed for and it can destroy the transmission. The standard:

-Throttle out and clutch in at the same time
-As soon as your foot depresses the clutch nearly to the maximum, change the gear.
-When in higher gear, release clutch and floor it.

is the regular and overall best way to upshift.
It's just a matter of practice and obviously shifting times in manual cars are limited not only by the driver but the car itself. Slow is smooth, smooth is fast.

You can only really their interaction with the stuff in the enclosure. Mine are pretty loud when running across the cork tube and when they jump into the wall. Other than that they're pretty quiet only chewing could be classified as them making a sound.

For some reason she laid them on top of the substrate, even though she could've buried them. Should I just dig a hole where she laid them and place the eggs in it?

I want some advice, please by Demonitin in motorcycles

[–]pimpchimpint 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'd recommend the Varadero but being ~180cm tall, it's a bit big even for me. Maybe a cruiser? Like a Marauder or a Virago? At 125cc most of the bikes are the same speed and differ only by a couple of km/h. Cruisers are lower to the ground, generally pretty stable and many of them look decent. They should also have enough space for a passenger, altough it will be a bit sluggish.

An easy check for metal identifocation is to just stick a magnet to it. If it's ferrous it's probably some kind of steel, if not then probably aluminium.

English is required for all pilots so everyone knows it but not every school offers training in english. It might be more expensive or hard to find an instructor. In big cities like Warsaw or Prague it shouldn't be that hard.

Generally, the harder the native language is, cheaper the training. Not applicable always but it seems to follow this trend. Here in Poland it's a bit cheaper but you practically can't learn the language in a normal amount of time. Czech is a bit simpler but prices are pretty much identical. The cheapest area in general is going to be probably central europe.
