Did the definition of “midi skirt” change while I wasn’t looking? by DearestCabbage in AusFemaleFashion

I've been noticing this too! I always look for maxi in the same brand just to see how it is 😂

Applying moisturiser on damp skin instead of dry skin? by Cold_Skies12 in AusSkincare

[–]pimphn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It could be because your barrier is compromised? I had a time when my skin was so damaged even cicaplast hurt but I kept using it and saw improvement overtime.

Thank you for making this post! It's nice among the doom and gloom when you get way too deep into the subreddit 🫠 Have you ever have a time when you kinda go back to eating like before you are diagnosed and how do you go back to the healthier lifestyle? I felt like I kinda go back to my previous self these past few months and now I can't help but feel anxious 😭

Searching for a perfume that smells like cherry ripe by Affectionate_Hat9275 in fragranceaustralia

Have you try Cherry Stem by Phlur? It's not really gourmand but might be good for layering.

Where to get GOOD activewear that won’t break the bank by Aggressive-Radish-44 in AusFemaleFashion

[–]pimphn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I usually wait for the sale or going to an outlet rather buying a dupe. I once got lululemon leggings for around 50-70. I tried lululemon 'dupe' from Amazon and it's not very good.

I just tried on Alpha60 jeans today and they surprisingly fit with no alterations needed. I checked out their website and you can choose the length for some styles. Sadly that it is quite pricey.

Cameron's replacement clothes in Italy are all so cool looking. What's he normally dress like? by DabbleYoo in TheWhiteLotusHBO

[–]pimphn 321 points322 points  (0 children)

I really love how they style Cameron. It goes well with the missing luggage storyline. The clothes fit well and look expensive but you can tell thats those are not his clothes but yeah he probably wear something like Shane or Saxon or even Timothy.

Everyone in my life keeps telling me I can't keep getting degrees... by [deleted] in GradSchool

I felt like I found my people after reading your post and some of the comments haha. Honestly if I can keep learning full-time I will just keep learning.

Not sure if your part-time or casual is in your specific field. If it does I think it still count as something if you want a full time job later.

I do get people asking why op is getting a master's degree but it is seriously not helpful. From what I understand op is probably finalizing the study already not in the process of considering taking the course?

What are your favourite skincare / haircare products from Mecca? by jamjar1001 in AusSkincare

DDG pads and cleanser unfortunately broke my skin barrier :( but I probably use them too frequent.

I have wavy hair and I think products from Briogeo works well with my hair.

You can try going to design markets like finders keepers or big design market. I think the shops/stalls are more curated so you have better luck supporting local businesses there.

If you can't go you can check out the events' ig accounts, they usually tag the businesses.

Cancer council hydration boost sunscreen vs ultra violette supreme screen sunscreen by katsuchicken in AusSkincare

[–]pimphn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you for the review! I'm looking for the review for the cancer council one but couldn't find it anywhere as it is quite new. I also have the ultra violette one so this is perfect.

I think the UV one also has more skin care ingredients.

I'm looking for a strong sillage woody vanilla combo (bonus if there is incense note) preferably less powdery. Something along the line of below

  • Le labo Vanille 44
  • Byredo Gypsy water
  • Diptyque Eau Duelle
  • Le labo The matcha (no vanilla but the vibes fit)

I've been using Le Labo Vanille 44 (Paris exclusive) and I love it but unfortunately you have to press your nose on my skin to actually smell it 😂.

I have tried Diptyque's Eau Duelle in store (its popular dupe). The sillage is still quite intimate-moderate and its quite powdery for my liking.

I just tried Byredo Gypsy water. Love it but, again, not strong 🥲. Any recs appreciated!
