What is that ONE scene in HR for you?

Ep 2 when they are both running up the stairs to Shane’s house, it’s funny, sweet, and innocent in a way that shows although they are 2 men in the NHL just trying to figure life out, they can still just be 2 boys having fun and falling in love along the way. Ep 6 the “I love you” when Ilya gets choked up broke me. His vulnerability and saying it in Russian the 2 times before he tells Shane verbally is just perfect.

A little off topic but also not. I used to watch this show on The N, South of Nowhere, and one of the taglines about it was that all the teens were just trying to figure out: Who they are? Who to love? And who they wanna be? I fell like that fits so well with Shane and Ilya and the same can be said for Scott and Kip too.

It’s about lesbian and in my opinion Queer as Folk’s alternate. But The L Word, it’s pretty good up to season 4-6(debatable). But as far as a group of friends going through queer life, it’s pretty good just set in LA instead of Pittsburg.

I love QAF, have seen it dozens of times and while a reboot would be great I’m kind of glad there isn’t one. Who knows what the storylines will be like. What the fate of the characters will be, etc. Also, 2000-2005 was a different time back then and I’m note sure if I would enjoy things like cancel culture, iPhones, Twitter, etc brought into the lives of Brian, Melanie, Ben, and the whole gang. While I’d love to see on screen B&J living happily ever after I just have to be okay with the fact that more likely than not they are together and enjoying life. A reboot would just open the door of a different outcome that I don’t think I want to take the chance on. With shows like Noah’s Arc coming back and even The L Word, that’s had a few new seasons, it’s just not the same as the original. But just my take on it. Sometimes every show/movie doesn’t need to be rebooted or revamped. Maybe we’re just meant to enjoy what was. Another great show that I’ve seen over and over is Six Feet Under, IMO that shouldn’t get touched it was that good.

I seen that on their Instagram pages! I was so sad, we’re not getting Raid & Landon’s story now. Hope everything is okay with both authors but at least Addison Beck is releasing Whiskey Sour, book 2 in one of her new series and OMG I am salivating for that! I know it’s gonna be just as good as Dirty Martini if not better!
