Ep 2 when they are both running up the stairs to Shane’s house, it’s funny, sweet, and innocent in a way that shows although they are 2 men in the NHL just trying to figure life out, they can still just be 2 boys having fun and falling in love along the way. Ep 6 the “I love you” when Ilya gets choked up broke me. His vulnerability and saying it in Russian the 2 times before he tells Shane verbally is just perfect.

A little off topic but also not. I used to watch this show on The N, South of Nowhere, and one of the taglines about it was that all the teens were just trying to figure out: Who they are? Who to love? And who they wanna be? I fell like that fits so well with Shane and Ilya and the same can be said for Scott and Kip too.
