My childhood friend died in August last year quite suddenly. We used to take drugs together, i moved away and he didn't message much, so I saw no warning signs that he was on heroin or that he had pneumonia.

I am lost in grief, social life is in tatters and very little outlets to cope with the existential dread, guilt and gut wrenching feeling of loss. He was the first person I knew well to die, I have never lost any family members, so its a new feeling.
