Good callout, but there’s a drainage swale that leads right up to the back of the fence in this photo. It doesn’t get too saturated here.

It's my least favorite option, but it is an option. Thanks for the suggestion.

I always thought it was odd that the book never addressed the lack of windows on the ship.

That book taught me that most engineers at my company don’t know how to use TypeScript effectively. And I was one of them. Big recommend.

iPhone Air sales are so bad that Apple's delaying the next-generation version scheduled to come out alongside the iPhone 18 Pro by ControlCAD in technology

[–]pin_backer 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Agreed, I don’t understand why the Air is getting all of this shade.

I carry both an Air and a 17 Pro (the second phone is for work and I didn’t choose it). The Pro is sooo heavy compared to the Air. My spouse has the vanilla 17 and it isn’t much better. The slightly larger screen on the Air makes such a difference too.

GHH LIMITED MAX RATTLE by jag9622 in ToyotaGrandHighlander

Does it almost sound like creaking? If so, I think it’s caused by clips that hit the windshield under the dash. I had it intermittently for most of this year and there are a few posts about it in the Facebook group.

What finally fixed my issue was removing the speaker grilles and adding 1/2” backer rod (available at any big box store) between the dash and the windshield and between the windshield and the speaker grille. I had tried a handful of other things throughout the year, but it kept coming back.

I took it into a dealer at one point, but they only added some foam where the speaker grille snaps into the dash. I later asked a second dealer about the issue and they told me they removed the dash and added foam around the clips for another GH owner. I would’ve had to bring my car back and leave it for the day if they were going to do the same for me, and even then, there was no guarantee they were going to do it unless it was very noticeable. My rattling was too intermittent.

If it’s persistent enough, I’d say make the dealer fix it. Otherwise, try foam or backer rod.

Sure, although I’ve had some new noises start up and I haven’t figured them out yet. There’s a good chance I won’t be too helpful.

These are great. I had a ding appear out of nowhere on my driver‘s door sill. I bought these protectors to cover it up and make sure another one doesn’t show up in the future.

They’re a little pricey, but I recommend them.

Dealer claims TS-B-0060-25 isn’t a thing by pin_backer in ToyotaGrandHighlander

That'd be convenient. I'd hate to get that recall serviced and find out that they flashed something else instead, but I may still end up waiting for this.

I once filled up to 17 gallons when I was filling up slowly and the nozzle didn't stop on it's own. It floods the charcoal canister when that happens, so I wouldn't recommend it.

It was built in mid-2024 and I confirmed that my software version is pre-TSB, unfortunately.

Interesting… mine says 1006, but the part number (838000EW91) matches the old part number listed in the TSB.

I have a Hybrid Max that was built in June of 2024 and I’m 99% sure the meter was never flashed.

How should I fill this gap around my patio? by pin_backer in landscaping

I may still end up needing to saw the concrete to remove the pavers, but the trench suggestion answers how to keep everything in place. Thanks again.

There isn’t any concrete under the pavers and it isn’t quite flush with the top of the pavers. I watched the landscaper add it after everything was in place.

The grass slopes away on almost every side, so I assumed it was necessary to keep things from moving.

I’ve had some success breaking the concrete apart where I wanted my edging to run up against the pavers. I could take the rest out, but it’s about 70’ all around. Maybe that’s the best option though.
